My cousin wrote a book. It's a new book about the bandit Joaquin Murietta filled with documents he discovered in various locales - private letters, museums, etc.
He tried to sell it on Facebook BUT... they won't let him. Here's their exact rejection quote on the second submission to sell it there -
"We received your request and reviewed your listing again. We confirmed that it doesn't follow our COMMERCE POLICIES ON WEAPONS. We have Commerce Policies to help people buy and sell responsibly on Facebook".
It's a "BOOK"... as in those things with pages that you read. Maybe they think people could open to a page then slam it shut on someone's finger causing a severe ouchy? Or if you're holding it too close to your nose you might slam it on your own face? I'm not sure.
And I like I said... this is the SECOND rejection after 'close review'. - JamesJM
