This is why I am not getting my panties in a bunch over this season. The chickens have come home to roast. You have to pay the piper at some point and he is standing outside SoFi stadium at the moment. Whether or not you can do a quick rebuild is the question or do you just blow it up and start kind of fresh? I for one, would trade Ramsey while he still has a reputation. I think he will no loby billster1212 - RamsFootballFans.com
I agree with your take on him. I am of the belief that he is just over rated. He sure gets burned a lot for someone who is supposed to be the best corner in the game. When I think of the best corners I think of Revis and he managed to shut down Megatron in his prime...And...he didn't yap so much either.by billster1212 - RamsFootballFans.com

It’s a wonderful stepping stone position for future advancement but does require a person to be willing to stay in background and tend to the more routine O matters. QuoteL.A.Rams Weddle was a disappointment in 2019, but there could be a reason. Early in the season, he took a brutal hit to the head. His forehead was gashed and bleeding all over the place. That kind of incident involving a traumatic head injury can have a lingering effect. Weddle said he had stuff floating around in his knees and that was keeping him from playing at a high level. I have a feeling its going to be a semi-blowout for whoever wins. It will be either Stafford playing hero-ball or Jimmy G playing like crap. I doubt very much its a close game with both QB's playing mistake free ball. I worry that Stafford might be getting the Hero-ball itch after the last play in TB. That really, really concerns me. I hope McVay can talk him down from the ledge to play complimenby billster1212 - RamsFootballFans.com
Why don't they just play him at free safety? It would make more sense than what they are doing now with him.by billster1212 - RamsFootballFans.com
I wonder if they are holding out Rapp for the game because of his miscues more than any protocol. I can't recall any hit he made that would say he was concussed. He seems to make so many mistakes back there that even having a slower player at that position is a net positive if he is generally where he is supposed to be compared to Rapp. I think Ramsey was freelancing a bit too much and he was thiby billster1212 - RamsFootballFans.com
Edwards (73) was turnstiled all game long. Why not leave Sony or Cam to help the O-line out a bit? For all the genius that McVay is supposed to have...I would trade him for Vrabel as a coach any day. All these little trick plays that everyone figures out by game 10 in the season are proof of his inability to adjust. Kyle had 40yrds in total before the last drive of the 1st half. I get the feeling that Stafford seems to have these screw ups early in the game when he feels he can take chances and make up for them. There has to be a reason it happens primarily in the 1st half (1st q even) and then he settles down and doesn't do it anymore (mostly) for the rest of the game. It's like he has an "Oh @#$%&" moment and then realizes he can't be too loose with the ballby billster1212 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRockRam There is no way the Rams can give Michel a substantial contract. And the way he's playing, I imagine other teams will come calling. I would prefer to sign him if we can. But if we can't, doesn't that mean we get a nice draft pick out of his UFA signing if he goes elsewhere?by billster1212 - RamsFootballFans.com
I agree it's more McVay than Stafford some times. When we are in the red zone( or anywhere else really) and it's 3rd and 2 or 3 and your running back is averaging 5yds a carry...why are you in shotgun Empty backfield no less)? Why give them that little tip? Why not be under center where the other team has to at least respect both the run AND pass? QuoteNewMexicoRam This percentage dependency when using relative risk is so deceiving. Problem is...hardly anyone knows about AR vs RR and they just consume whatever the media screams whilst clutching their pearls. I think this has gone on long enough...people need to start enlightening as many people as they can about how our media is working for Big Pharma and not the plain old truth.by billster1212 - RamsFootballFans.com
Look up the term RR (Relative Risk) compared to AR(Absolute Risk) and you can see that we use RR instead of AR when doing our "science" and that is plain dangerous. RR means if you have 1,000 people in each cohort (vaxxed and un-vaxxed) and 10 people in the unvaxxed group get covid compared to 5 people in the vaxxed category you will have a 200% increase in your chances of getting covidby billster1212 - RamsFootballFans.com

So do you agree with the way Morris is using Jalen? Do you think it's better than just straight up putting him on the best WR? I keep thinking that both McVay and Morris try to not do the obvious thing and make it unduly complicated by trying to outsmart the other guy....and it's not working. I also think this "star" position that they made for Ramsey has gone to his head where he tby billster1212 - RamsFootballFans.com
Since you are more adept at deciphering what the Defense is doing. I want to ask you this about Morris: Does he disguise his coverage and rotate them after the snap as much as Staley did? It seems to me that we are basically just showing our cards at the snap and hope for the best. I really am curious as to your answer. Doesn't it make sense for McVay to ease Stafford into games a bit more than he has been doing? By that I mean: Stafford is usually amped up and tends to over throw his WR in the 1Q of games because of whatever reason he has. Run the ball a bit...settle down a bit...getting down by 14 to start a game is just asking for your whole game plan to be thrown out the window. Agreed. This is just plain ridiculous that we have the highest paid corner in the league and we won't use him the way he should be just because "That's what they would expect us to do". I mean...why is he Galaxy Braining everything at this point? Is it to stroke Jalen's ego and make him feel more a part of the action? I read the Athletic mailbag where Jourdan discussed his departure. It seems there were issues because Kromer's son was an offensive assistant and there was some kind of issue because of that. My guess on this is that McVay outsmarts himself. He probably sits there thinking "Nah, I can't do that play...he will know its coming" until the point of paralysis. He did that in the Super Bowl against Bill. He thought there was no point in trying something new because he would have it figured out by half time. I have been watching the Rams for 40yrs and Ramsey is easily the most over rated super star we have ever had. They keep talking about him like he is Revis and he keeps getting burned. I wouldn't at all be surprised if they go 3-1. You want to know why? I am a fan of a very talented NHL team that is loaded with talent like the rams are...and whenever they play a team that looks like it should be a gimme game..they @#$%& the bed and take the night off. Although this season was a bit better than past seasons...has anyone else noticed how often we get a penalty on a return compared to other teams? Deadpool..you've obviously forgotten more about football than I will ever know..but I need to ask you this question about McVay. Did he not change his offense from year 1 to year 2? The O-line that is undersized but mobile worked for Run zone blocking schemes when they could cut block...when that was taken out of the game and the threat of getting your knees taken out was no longer a factor...the whole scheme was easier to blow up....I just can't believe that we are still running the same offense that we had last year when it is obvious teams figured out a way to stop us. If we "stupid" fans can see it...what the heck is going on with the coaches?....Brady has had a shoddy O-line many times in the last few years and they always seem to make due with quick passes. Why we can't do that is beyond me...by billster1212 - RamsFootballFans.com
IMO he needs another voice to tell him not to do some of the things he does. When in short yardage...why are you bringing in your WR's close to the line? You are basically giving the o-line 11 in the box to deal with since they will attack the middle of the line. It's just dumb...he needs someone to tell him that and wake him up.
