Doesn't it make sense for McVay to ease Stafford into games a bit more than he has been doing? By that I mean: Stafford is usually amped up and tends to over throw his WR in the 1Q of games because of whatever reason he has. Run the ball a bit...settle down a bit...getting down by 14 to start a game is just asking for your whole game plan to be thrown out the window.
I think McVay likes the empty sets because he is declaring they are going to throw and you can't do anything about it...well...they can do something and they ARE doing something about it. Just calm down. Both of them tend to be on the hyper side and need someone to slap them on the side of the head and tell them to relax a bit.
Henderson...I have never seen a back so easily taken down by 1 tackler in 45yrs of watching football. Let Sony get some steam and fall forward for 4yrds at a clip until we can start making the defense guess a bit.
