makes more sense when you say it like that... (Still always feel the Cheatalots seem to get good value from us!!) :worthyby OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Personally, I don't love this pick up or hate it, just have to wait and see. Sony has talent, but has also been injured and not amazing when healthy from watching is video. But why is it that when ever the Pats trade with us, I always feel as if they get the much better deal. I can't quite believe that an often injured RB that isn't lights out can still garner 2 mid round draft picks, withby OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I would hate to punt (!!) Hekker. He's been a blue chip player for many years. So yes he wasn't as great last year. So the question is... is this the new norm or just an off year. Because I'd hate to pass on him, and then see our new guy not being all that over the course of a season. But the Rams have stripped themselves bare of cap space and gaining another $2.75 million is always usefulby OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Sony Michel RB Georgia TALENT ROUND 1 STRENGTHS Sony reminds me a lot of a former running back from Auburn Cadillac Williams. He has the size, speed and vision that makes his style of running between the tackles shock and disorientate defensive players the same way a suspect reacts to a flash/bang grenade used by a swat team to enter a building and disorientate its suspects. He might beby OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Nice list of 53. I'm interested that you had neither of the Brown's on the list. I don't see any way they cut the DT Brown, he won't make it yo the PS. Aldo not sure they'd risk it with DE Brown either. My personal wishes, they don't try andget cute as they have in past trying to sneak players to PS, but then there's no choice when your stacked with talent. But please please dont try andby OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
or bust from my seat! I can't think of a time when I have seen him play G and look even slightly OK. He had some OK moments at RT though. What I would like to see, is Anchrum at G and Evans at T and see how they do there.by OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Not too surprising, but I'm glad they actually said it about the RB's and running game, otherwise fans just don't believe what they're hearing!! I'm not sure about McVays praise for Evans though, didn't look that good to me and were funnily P.C. in Jourdans recent 11 personnel podcast about McVays comment!by OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Shame, I don't understand what's up with him. They were so bullish about getting him in the 4th last year, when most of us were surprised by another TE. Not to mention I had my heart dashed because Biadasz was there!!!by OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Thanks for the snap shot... What was going on with Hopkins?by OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I was delighted he was somehow (injury probably) still on the board in the 4th..... and sure Hopkins looked good on tape. But Biadasz... I loved him as a Badger, big strong guy and that name just sounded cool as for an OL!!by OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
To me Evans is the backup RT of present. He played much better there than at G. Anchrum, looks more like the G. But he seems to be getting looks all over.by OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Here's what I think, the Rams have seen.... Evans is ok but not as good as Corbet at RG. Corbet, would make a decent to good C, with a few growing pains no doubt and the Rams were happy and ready to roll with this. Allen, was a relatively unknown, except for his few games two seasons ago, which people have judged with polar opposite responses. Also no-one was sure of how he was going toby OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
'Seems to be beating out Blyth for the starting C position' ! Remember all the chat before the draft, with Rams saying a rookie could come in and start etc etc. Well if Creed is good enough to start for Patrick M, he would have been good enough for Stafford? Still, if B. Allen has actually remoulded into a stronger, fiercer, better C, then that's all good. ......... until he also bby OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Not a chance SJD doesn't make the team?? Nit sure where his thoughts about this roster spot come from. From all accounts, the Rams live him and he's evolved into one of the better runner staffers in the middle. Also I don't see Shelton making over Anchrum. Some other pkayers in there for me two that I'd swop around abit. Like Hollins as a DE, pretty sure we keep another CB or S. Etcby OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
McVay eluded to there are things that other teams are doing to help protect against this sort of injury... I'm assuming the bubble wrapped helmets are one! And yes, freak injury's can and will still happen, but if they happen and they were potentially preventable!! that's what I thinking about in relation to our new QB. Bubble wrap them all up and let them :thumbsupby OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Too be honest, for a team like the Rams that are so often seemingly looking to play smart, I can't for the life of me, understand why they haven't put all kinds of safety measures in place. You trade a boatload for a QB that has just had hand surgery and has team expectations through the roof!!! Why the hell wouldn't you be protecting that investment with everything and anything you can?by OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Really got me... Glaston Green, sre he was a 4.28 something 40, but he had little wiggle and just wasn't that instinctive. God, I wanted Thurman, he was a stud at OSU, think of what could have come from those drafts re the Eric bounty...... if they had just let the fans draft!! A better WR, RB, DL... .by OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Nooooooooooooooooo Not that Bolyhart was the last word, but I did find some of his comments on Jason Smith not encouraging.. 'Jason is the worst run blocking offensive lineman that I have ever seen being considered as a top ten pick. Does anyone but me watch film at all?' 'This is ridiculous! Just because a kid plays LT in college and has some athletic talent does not mean he should auby OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
It was funny looking at those two draft picks.... one WR and one TE. Because if you were just going by their physical stature and speed, their positions would probably be reversed in most peoples minds!by OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
and the exact same thing for me. Yes he must be fast because he does out run a lot of people. But his leg churn speed and body movement seems to make it look as if he's not trying that hard and not actually going that fast. There are a few runs where it looked as if he got caught, when he could have gone fast to beat the angle. But I appreciate it could just be the camera angle. Being honest Iby OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I hear you, just a bit later in the 80s for me! But I'm really appreciating it now! Long may it continue.by OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
This is the little nuggets of info that us diehard Rams fans love to read (Speaking for myself of course)! Jordan digs into stories the way an intrigued fan would, not like most beat writers who often seem to be just trying to cover their weekly space, or smooch up to the team brass. Good for Jordan, hope she won that writing prize, and lucky us as Rams fans to have her covering our team.by OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
His left knee/lower leg had a wrap on it and when he was sliding down his gait looked slightly uneven. I don't remember any news about injuries might just be a slight strain..by OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Would be cool, except their going to have a whole new offense probably.by OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Is it as the Rams have shown in the past that will also play the PR game. Having the Rams even mentioned as a possible trading partner gets them in the headlines. Talking heads, discussing boards etc go into overdrive...'how can the Rams afford this, what it means for existing players, what would McVay do with such an revered WR!!!!' This is all good free PR to get the Rams brand out thereby OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I think your probably right, if he was testing next to the other CBs and showing his athleticism i think some team might have jumped before the 4th. Lucky Us!!by OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I was surprised too that he was available in the 4th. Liked him before the draft and didn't expect us to draft him. But he has so much potential..... I loved this pick.by OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm not a fan of all the number changing. Don't mind the skill positions, but LBs etc, it just works better for me when the number kind of designates the position!! Must just be getting old and cynical....... but was this change brought about purely to sell more shirts??? Hmmby OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
But keep not seeing it anywhere? I thought part of the recent CBA was a small increase in roster spots and increased PS size as well?by OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
