theres the SD connection now with an ex Rams coach... I thought Staley might like him as did the Rams!! Asante goneby OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I think I say this every year..... the information that people share with this board is priceless. And without being in a Rams meeting room, it literally is. None of the many publications (that I still enjoy reading) have the level of understanding for what the Rams are really looking for scheme fit wise or little tendencies etc. I've bought Lindy's Pro Football Draft magazine since I was 7ishby OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Dalman in the 2nd round!! Hmmmmm........ not pleased will be my reaction. Dalman in the 3 to 5th round area OK (more 5th for me), I had the same feeling when they took Brian Allen about 2 to 3 rounds too early in my book.by OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Farr was almost my favourite pick up off all the drafted players (and non drafted). I was at UW the 93-94 year and went to every home game the Huskies had. I couldn't believe he went undrafted even if a little undersized. He was just in the backfield and generally causing trouble in all those games. Loved it when he became a Ram.by OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Washington University is sort of an alma marter for me even though I graduate in Scotland. But I love the Huskies and having another one as our C takes me bake to the Bern Brostek days!!!by OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I like reading posts like this, but more often than not I find myself wondering if we are looking at the same players? I like Shelton at Washington, but I wouldn't say he was a mauler. Strong for his size but a little undersized (get away with it at C not so sure at RG). Where as Anchrum is shorter at 6-2, but not undersized at 312+ ish. Also I seem to remember another OldNotDead post thaby OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Daniel Jeremiah was talking about the lack of medical details for many late round picks and this might lead to a buyers market for later round picks!!!! Does that sound like Snead heaven!!!!! From: NFL.COM 2) Late draft picks, anyone? Thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, which led the NFL Scouting Combine to alter its usual procedures in Indianapolis, there's a dearth of medical information avby OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
sorry if already posted! Darious Williams so that's good... he's defo a Ram for one more yearby OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
But I've got this man-love thing going for Meinerz. He's that nasty OL we don't have right now. He might not be ready this year, but our C or G of the near future.by OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
he he has never lived up to the ridiculous hype pre being drafted. However if that's forgotten and just taken for what he has done, he seems like a solid run defender and I don't have stats to hand but remember reading he created more pressures/opportunities than show up in just sack numbers. So on Cleveland's line, I'm sure he's going to help make them better, just not superhuman HOF bettby OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I always remember him telling the ref what N.F.L stands for...by OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
It seems the Rams have meshed the analytics in the right way to help focus and back up what they see when watching players play football. For those that are interest here's a video NBC (Simms) discussing a piece in 'The Athletic' regarding the downfall of the Eagles and the possible way they used analytics!! I'm too excited already!!by OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Having now wasted more hours than I'd like to count at bedtime playing various draft simulation games...... (my wife just doesn't get it funnily enough!)..... There seems to be a whole load of players I'd love to draft in the 90 to 110 range; CB, C, T, DI, ILB, S, speed WR and the occasional edge, but most have gone and then some development types seem to gave value in 5th again.by OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I don't know, some team with cap space could be waiting! I'm sure I remember (but can't think of any just now!!) where a tendered player was signed to an offer right at the last moment.by OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I was wondering if Blythe might go somewhere else if all things the same as I got the vibe (just they way I read) the post Kromer posts especially from him.by OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Seem bonkers.. 2nd to 6th for: three 1st's and a 2nd (39th) Trade down 4 picks for more!by OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
There's just something about him.... that i think with Shannon would be Really dangerous really soonish.by OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
just imagine...... there would have been a cloud of doom from some that the $9ers got him ............................... only to be replaced potentially by a.... you traded Bosa, and 3x1st's or what ever!!!!by OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
but I think what Merlin was getting at is the variability in the results we're seeing. You used to hear more about this in the past, with times coming in for players running on grass vs track vs fast tract etc. I know my self, on grass I used to run the 40 in a 4.45 to 4.5 range, while on the track in a 4.38 to 4.43 range. Not much of a difference, but posting a 4.3 anything gets peoples aby OzRam - RamsFootballFans.com
