A bunch of stuff---21 points that made up for my deficient prediction on Cards O: 1.Every single player appears to be offering something on defense: Easley and Cam Thomas are doing their thing, EJ Gaines playing with big brains and good ability. Mo Alex didn’t seem to make a huge error this game, and creating terror. Cody Davis looks like he knows what he is doing---and he ain’t no Craig Dahlby brownsugar - RamsFootballFans.com

Quote21Dog Won't work over the course of 16 games. Enjoying it so far, though. Ahhhh, finally someone said it. Enjoying the 3-1 too. The 1984 rams had a similarly bad and uncreative offense, however, they had 3-4 pro bowl O lineman and a hall of famer RB, and so they controlled the ball and the game, and made the playoffs. Case K may not be the problem, but rather the O line.....Iby brownsugar - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteArizonaRamFan The 2006 Rams are rolling, getting out ahead 4-1 and their only loss is a close one, 20-13 in an away game @Niners. Things are looking up again. Until... they drop 7 of the next 11 games, missing the playoffs. This was their last non-losing season. The following 5 years, the Rams compiled the worst record in NFL history. Teams can get out to hot starts and break your heart.by brownsugar - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteSilverback How did the great run games of the past do it? Everyone knew Eric Dickerson was running, Eddie George, AP, Walter Payton too. Obviously hall of gamers but how do we get it going? Still makes no sense to me, either. How we are 3-1 blows me away. What a group of bangers we have on D!by brownsugar - RamsFootballFans.com

QuoteRamsfsninmd ....they get trucked by ARI and revert back to the team that has been below average for over a decade and during Fisher's whole regime. This is a very important game... To me, last week was 'the' game that sets the tone for the season. Coming off a huge divisional game, playing a mediocre team on the road, and then having the D play 90 plays which is 1 1/2 games of plays inby brownsugar - RamsFootballFans.com
It was a great, great game....classic Rams game. Foles actually did very well. The Cards were going up and down the field. The Rams actually may have played better D in teh home game (week 14?) that they played in St Lou....even though they got blown out, they looked like the had a better chance against the Card O. Maybe I am wrong and the D holds them to 20 points.....but, considering this iby brownsugar - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRams43 Matt Waldman I was wrong to think that Jared Goff was the most pro ready of the 2016 rookie quarterback class. Quarterbacking is like making music. Thanks to our digital age, most young quarterbacks have more access to technical coaching, nutrition and training programs, and football theory than their predecessors. QuotePeoriaRa I watched several players very closely. Here is what I noticed: * For some reason I decided to focus on Saffold quite a bit. I was not impressed. He got pushed back often and quite far in pass blocking - did not seem to have the strength to hold up. Run blocking he seemed to be blocking air quite a bit - although to be fair I had no idea of his assignments. While I did not sby brownsugar - RamsFootballFans.com

QuoteRockRam It feels sometimes like we're playing D with 10 guys. The FS is nowhere to be found. I don't know if it by design, or if we just don't have good FS. If not, that and WR have to be our offseason priorities. Gre Williams said 'we play the deepest FS in the league'--paraphraseby brownsugar - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRams43 Thanks Mr Blinkscout, I like and details you add! Hanging in there on that front 4 short handed in that heat and humidity after a cross country flight which included a long mechanical delay is another excellent example. QuoteJamesJM that were they to get Gurley into the passing game more, (which they may do at some point in the future), AND working combo with Austin, Austin especially, both would gather stats quickly. Totally agree about Gurley...he mentioned this in pre season...I am surprised he isn't involved more on swing passes.by brownsugar - RamsFootballFans.com
Thanks for putting these up every week. Rams have 28th ranked pass rush....that is based on sacks I would guess....because they look pretty good to me... That great run stopping D line allows them to keep Joyner and Barron free mostly....this is the defense of the future (having safeties or nickel corners full time on the field---which essentially makes them LBers on the run downs). QuoteGreatRamNTheSky He's saying what is true. Negativity rules on this board and has for a while. That's because the fans feel things will go south and the team will lose again. Grits I wasn't negative when we had that absolute NFL worst O line in 2012--and we won 7 games with the worst roster. We were on an upswing. I was wrong about Joyner being successful this season. He has looked great, and considering he is in on run downs he has done very well....I don't like his deep speed, but apparently he won't have to deal with deep passes and he is tough against the run. He pretty much plays OLB on what maybe 25% of the snaps.by brownsugar - RamsFootballFans.com
I agree. The analysis isn't so great anymore. BUt, how can you analyze GRob in comparison to even a good tackle like Fred Miller or Ryan Tucker (yep, I know they are RTs). How can you compare Tavon to Az Hakim/Proehl...come on? How can you compare Jenks to Aenas or Todd Lyght or Dre Bly?
