He's saying what is true. Negativity rules on this board and has for a while.
That's because the fans feel things will go south and the team will lose again.
Grits
I wasn't negative when we had that absolute NFL worst O line in 2012--and we won 7 games with the worst roster. We were on an upswing.
However, Starting in 2013 you could see that with more talent we weren't doing so much better. People like Tru Jo and Jenks and the O line continued to look un-coached. Bad technique coaching: Jenks and Tru Jo still don't turn their head 50 yards down field!! Tru Jo and Jenks are pro bowl quality talent...yet teams went up and down the field on us too much. 2014 was a continuation of the same problems in the passing game and with the WRS. 2015 continued the NFL worst QB-WR connection. So, reality does not look so good. Even though they only win 7 games, they throw away 2-3 wins a year....that is a reality we all know based on the talent and the games we have seen.
Fish has taken the worst team and made them respectable, and that is great. But now, 5 years later we still have the worst offense in the NFL. So reality and negativity sometimes go hand in hand for a good reason. That 49er game was not a gimme, I felt that. But, if we lost 20-17 I would have zero complaints.
However, being 2-1 is not so bad
