These posts about Watson and Kirkwood...Did anyone know who they were prior to them performing this season?. Watson maybe, as he has been around, my point is it doesnt matter. The Saints will have replacements of near equal caliber. However the key point is who gets the targets in the passing game. The Saints have 532 targets including the post season. That breaks down to the below: Thomaby cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
Havent read the article but pretty much every review of the Rams game focused on the dominant oline play and offensive scheme of the Rams. Seems a silly take to me.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
Ya, Lawrence plays on the offense's right side. vs Rams He was on the Rams' rightside 52 snaps and the left 10by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
This is insane blocking and play design. Play design itself removed several defenders from the play and also setup better angles for almost every other block. Saffold's play yesterday was ridiculous. He is mauling defenders. His mobility to get to the second level is rare. Really stunning to see.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com

Schottenheimer, the Seahawks and past Rams Offensive Coordinator, was quoted giving a common line about how to best win a game in the NFL. The line is our goal is 53 combined rushing ATTEMPTS and COMPLETED passes. The interpretation of this magical 53 number is important and divisive. Schottenheimer, or anyone quoting that number as a goal to reach, must think that achieving 53 combined rushby cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
I have a different take on this-re missing Kupp. Woods has taken over the slot Wr position, Kupp's old role, as Woods' slot wr snap has risen in the 70s from the 40s pre Kupp injury. My thought is we miss Kupp's big play ability more than his possession ability. No prepared with data to back up my thought but from what I do know of the offense, wrs, etc this is what I feel is missing--the big,by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
Calculated a team defense Passer Rating with and without Talib. With Talib includes Weeks 1-3, and 13-17. Without Talib Weeks 4-12. So two 8 games splits. Without Talib: Passer Rating Allowed of 105.2 (Ranked 28th) With Talib: Passer Rating Allowed of 64.3 (1st) TD:INT Ratio With Talib 1:3 TDs 4, Ints 12 Wout Talib: 7:1 TDs 14, Ints 2 Definitely more goingby cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
Flacco is terrible. Give me a young qb that can move and has some arm talent. Dont care who over Flacco.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
I was surprised at how little Russell moved outside the pocket and then threw. He is amazing throwing on the move and does it the 3rd most out of all Qbs. He moves and then throws on over 70% of Play Action Passes. Cowboys contained him in the pocket and pressured him well. Once the Seahawks realize success running the ball does not affect play action success they could be dangerous.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com

Flacco was and is bad enough to be on the bench. Putting Flacco in versus that pass rush with zero game planning for Flacco's style is sending a lamb to the slaughter. Lamar is a rookie in the playoffs versus a good team--but is their best shot.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com

Ridiculous statement. Watch five games. Every play. Chart every player. Understand each player's responsiblity once you identify the scheme. Then talk. In the meantime, this guys bust their ass and yes they give up points. The NFL is hard.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
Warner clearly better than Romo imo. The Monday Night Westwood1 radio broadcast with Harlin/Warner is the best broadcast there is currently.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
Considering this is ridiculous. The team is failing because Goff is failing. No team wins with a Qb playing as poorly as Goff. Donald is by far and away the best non Qb in the league--argument accepted for Deandre Hopkins. We signed him at a bargain rate and he is delivering like a star.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com

Awesome, thanks man. I think that the 3rd and 9 Passer Rating needs to be viewed differently. Goff had two picks, and I dont know if they were his fault, but given the small sample size 24 attempts, if you remove the INTs his rating goes 83.68 which for some comparison is roughly average for a qb in any down or distance when under pressure. I looked at Mahomes (59.5) and Brady (74.2) for cby cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
What is the Nfl average passer rating on 3rd and 9? Or can you point me to your source. Thanksby cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
One of the important points to consider regarding 3rd down performance is the importance of Goff avoiding third down situations. I got the idea for this watching the game on Sunday--gettiing either offense to 3rd down was insanely difficult for the defenses. And I don't know of any current objective way to measure an Offense's skill at avoiding 3rd down. If you take any play where on that plaby cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
Alyo, Do you have an opinon on Malik Reed OLB (Converted De) from Nevada? Ive seen him play alot and think he would be great for us. thanks.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
On the screen pass frequency being low--thought it was likely due to the heavy man coverage. But still I would have liked to get our big bodies on their small bodies. Thought it took too long to adjust to the Packer 5 under 2 deep. Was waiting for Gurley to get iso'd for awhile.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com

Ebukam will be a solid starter. He is one of the best players on defense in the preseason. Would include Westbrooks, Hatfield, and Lawler as the others. Ebukam will really shine once the starters are on the field and he gets great opportunties to make plays. His college production directly translates to NFL production.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
Top Ten is a stretch but they will be improved. Fluker is a massive run game upgrade for them and improvement from Poicic and Ifedi is natural. They will still be weak in pass protection but Russell can deal with that. Watched their game last night and the defense was impressive. Especially the seconday. In my opinion, they are the second best team in the NFC West by a good margin. The puby cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com

This is ridiculous. If true Donald is a much superior player than Mack at his position. Wade would be nuts to not make it work with a guy who routinely beats interior double teams. I find this not believable.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
