He was exellent. And hekker had one of his worst games. Great take--especially in a game like this where yards mattered a ton.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
Was he outcoached when Reynolds was wide open for a twenty yard in? Was he outcoached when Cooks was wide open in the endzone? How do you make this assumption without reviewing tape? Do you have any idea if WRs were open or covered watching the tv film? If Mcvay was outcoached that is fine, but I'd rather be sure before I start throwing out facts.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
Bill played the run first imo. He put a four man line on the 5 olinemen. Shelton would shade the center off to different sides. They also had two olbs set the edge. And they set the edge hard--they chipped the slot guys and did not allow rollouts. The line could not get off to the second level. @#$%&, they barely could handle the first level. With the mostly man coverage--I think(toughby cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
Patriots play in your face man coverage. The slot guys were getting chipped by the backers most of the night. Tough to get open versus tight man on a two/three step drop. But would have been nice to see.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
Think of us this-- Brady 9 Super Bowls and Post seasons of experience. Almost all with the same and current Offensive Coodinator. Edelman and Gronk many years of experience with the same QB and OC. Look where the big plays were made. Experience and continuity matter--especially versus the best. McVay has a done a fabulous job getting to this point. The mountain is a bit higher and wby cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
Alot of coaches get outcoached by Bill. But I dont think that was the case tonight. Players have to make plays. Players have to make blocks. This game is on the players. Sean put them in spots to succeed and they did not. Bill's defense is tremendous--and I think underrated. This team will get better--specifically and most importantly Goff. But I thought he did ok given he had very littby cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
Well done to the players, coaches and the organization. Now it is time to improve and win one and more.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
How many points did the Chiefs score in the first half last week? Bill is one of the best for a reason. Have some respect. 3-0. We have the ball. This is an awesome spot to be in. Mcvay is excellent with surgically adjusting. Goff and the WRs need to play better. Personally Id like to see some Isolations to Everrett. These defenses are legit.by cool_hand_luke - Game Time Forum
How many points did the Chiefs score in the first half last week? People have some respect for the best Defensive mind the game has ever seen. And he has some really good players. FFS.by cool_hand_luke - Game Time Forum
QB is far and away the most impactful position in the game. A franchise QB is almost always a necessity for winning a Super Bowl. Barring genarational defenses--Baltimore, Seattle, Tampa Bay-- the Qbs to have won SuperBowls in the last 20 years are: Nick Foles Tom Brady Peyton Manning Eli Manning Aaron Rodgers Drew Brees Ben Roethlisberger Kurt Warner John Elway When discussing frby cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com

Suh took over. Suh dominated both Centers in a fashion you dont see ever. Suh physically destroyed Unger. He pushed both centers yards off the los. He controlled three gaps, three gaps behind the line of scrimmage. There is more to it than Suh. But Suh is the catalyst. Give him his due. He is playing insane.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
NRC is one of the best slot corners in the game. Every game is important but grading a player based on a one game performance is way too small a sample size. I havent had a chance to watch the all 22 but it did look like a forgettable performance. Also, usually when the ball is thrown a dbs way these are thier worst snaps. Their best snaps usually force the ball to other targets. The Ramsby cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
List of signed players for 2019 39 total. 35.7 million in free space. Will spend on Saffold, Suh imo. Suh will likely resign imo--LA, makes 10+ million post postseason bonuses, and plays w Donald and Wade. Barron is cheap so I bet he stays. Personally, I'm a big fan of LaMarcus. Paying him ten per would be a bargain imo. So if they do those three thats all the cash. Given Fowler Iby cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
Comp picks are based mostly on dollars signed for and playing time though their is some unknown component for post season honors. The link describes it as well as I have seen. We should definitely get two threes.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
The pass was a built in option on the play call. It was a base run but versus cover zero it was a slant to the slot. Brees threw it in the dirt.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
he was lined up in the slot vs an arguable top 10 wr and had inside safety help that misplayed the ball. Joyner had outside leverage on cooper. The S was responsible the inside. Man, Joyner has been solid for five years and gets zero respect. Silly.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com

Saints took the outside zone runs aways--blitzing mlb, setting hard edges. Anderson the better interior runner which is how McVay adapted. Maybe hurt but McVay clearly thought CJ was better in that situation.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
A coverage lb who can handle Kamara is the new NFL. Not sure its possible but every team needs to try to find players to do that.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
Just think about the whistles in the stands--a controllable variable that is used to disrupt the away team. Also, anyone want to go through the film w me and count the non called holds on Donald? Was a bad call. Teams had the same refs. We got screwed in the 2001 Super Bowl repeatedly. This is how the playoffs are called. Also, Robey says ref told him the ball was tipped. Suh destroying Unger. He's driving him three yards back off the snap. Robey-Coleman is excellent. Defense playing very well. Donald getting doubled when lined up on Peat. Fowler and Suh need to take over.by cool_hand_luke - Game Time Forum
Rams went outside zone on the 2nd down play. Davis blitzed when he saw the center move left. McVay can counter that w the toss. Be interesting to see how the Saints continue to play the run.by cool_hand_luke - Game Time Forum
Brees is good. Defense playing well. Thomas was bracketed on the last 3rd down. Peters outside, JJ over and in. Suh manhandled Unger. Looks like Suh is ready to play. Would like to see Donald isolated on Peat. Great coverage overall imo. Big win on that drive.by cool_hand_luke - Game Time Forum
These posts about Watson and Kirkwood...Did anyone know who they were prior to them performing this season?. Watson maybe, as he has been around, my point is it doesnt matter. The Saints will have replacements of near equal caliber. However the key point is who gets the targets in the passing game. The Saints have 532 targets including the post season. This is insane blocking and play design. Play design itself removed several defenders from the play and also setup better angles for almost every other block. Saffold's play yesterday was ridiculous. He is mauling defenders. His mobility to get to the second level is rare. Really stunning to see.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
