It doesn't get better than when Alyo and Dead team up on a draft post. Love the dual perspectives. Thanks guys. Also, Alyo I was wondering why you aren't looking for the Rams to pick a future starter and waiting to the later rounds. Akers is probably gone after next season and he hasn't exactly been reliable due to injuries and whatever his problem was last year. While TE & Edge, especby David Deacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Enjoyed the read. 2 thoughts: OC may not have had great results but the Jets are totally messed up and have been for years. Got to have talent to be successful. QuoteRam_Ruler QuoteRamsdude They would have to eat some money. No team would do a trade otherwise... Twitter Link Giving out huge contacts that you have to eat money or give away picks to get out of is a troublesome theme. The Rams problem is that they have given out so many bad contracts. Worse yet they have given those contracts to players that are already Rams which means they shoby David Deacon - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRidgewood Ram Aside from him being a complete sieve, he can't stay healthy. I hope the FO comes to their senses, draft a real Center with size and brawn, and release this lemon. Allen and Gurley are 2 examples of the Rams really blowing it by betting on a players with chronic knee problems. The longer term performance risk is just too high to offer a really big contract. QuoteRamstien For that much dead money the Rams will have to pay if he is traded, it seems like it would make more sense to keep him. You can't just look at this year's impact on the cap. The following year we would have zero cap impact which may be needed to offset all the restructuring that was done and is coming due. That said I love Ramsey and trading him certainly makes things much mby David Deacon - RamsFootballFans.com

Quotealyoshamucci Who will be ready by TC. Dont get the 2nd round grade. So taking him in the 2nd round would be great value? Good backup next season and maybe great trade bait the following season or potential starter in season 3. This is not the type of move I have seen the Rams make but it sure would make a lot of sense from a value perspective with longer term returns possibly quitby David Deacon - RamsFootballFans.com

Robinson's talent didn't just disappear. Stafford and Robinson never got on the same page probably due to the elbow and lack of throws in the off season. The offense had many issues but Stafford only seemed comfortable with Kupp and to some extent Higbee and didn't seem to zero in on anyone else. Gotta fix that and become much more unpredictable. McVay offense prides itself on all the thby David Deacon - RamsFootballFans.com
As you look at the depth chart there is still a need for speed and someone to stretch the defense. Tutu fills that need and has proven himself to the point where we know he can get open on deep routes and he can catch the ball. That said Jefferson and Skow both looked good last year. Jefferson and Kupp have both shown the ability to get open deep and both have decent speed so the long ball witby David Deacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Interesting take on how technique may be a contributing factor on injuries. If the Offensive line we have now is healthy there is enough talent to be pretty decent. I do think that Allen may have a chronic knee issue and if that is the case technique probably won't fix that. Being healthy with Stafford a full participant in training camp can have a big impact on this team. Getting Robinsoby David Deacon - RamsFootballFans.com

Quoteden-the-coach I might miss him more when and if he's gone plus maybe he would actually be a better Head Coach then Coordinator, that is possible. He did a good job as the DC on the Super Bowl run, however, I have some concerns when it comes to him going with the likes of Derion Kendrick over Cobie Durant. I know that Morris takes a lot of heat for playing a soft zone and I admit it is tough to watch at times. I think the lack of a quality pass rush and inexperience in the Defensive backfield has made Morris believe that this is the best defense to play given the talent and experience of the team. I would also say that the defense is not why the Rams sucked so bad....it was the offense who couldby David Deacon - RamsFootballFans.com
I would draw attention to the point PARAM made in how Komer coached up Edwards and others. While our injuries were terrible last season there also seemed to be a "coaching up" issue which accounted for or contributed to the poor performance of the offensive line. I think that explains why they gave Canterbury the boot. On Noteboom I think he is at least okay+ as a LT if he can stayby David Deacon - RamsFootballFans.com

Wilks was a defensive assistant with the Panthers and a former Head Coach, former DC and did a great job as the interim Head Coach of the Panthers. He got the team to be competitive after they traded away their best player. Robert Saleh: “Nobody in the world knows (the Shanahan system) better than (Mike LaFleur) does.” What more could we ask for? Jets have a talent problem and the OC can't fix that. Who better to help McVay figure things out the get the offense moving? They share much of the same coaching DNA. Probably lots of people won't like this but LaFleur fit with McVay is great.by David Deacon - RamsFootballFans.com
The secondary with Ramsey is very inexperienced and without him probably a disaster. Plus he is a great team leader and a heck of a DB The other thing I don't like is that you have to wait until after June to trade him to save any significant cap space. Assuming that you would get draft picks in return the would not be until the 2024 draft. Trading Ramsey this year makes the team weakerby David Deacon - RamsFootballFans.com

I can't believe I will be rooting for the Eagles but I have not choice and they look great on offense and defense. SF looks great too on both sides of the ball. What I really hate is that they may have found the QB of the future in the 7th round of the draft and he is proving himself as a rookie.
