Why would they do that? In what world does someone give out an algorithm to their bread and butter? I guess 3/4 of the NFL and large majority of FBS teams are just hoping they get decent information.by RamJr - RamsFootballFans.com
Ogeltree has the most passion on this team, in my opinion. He gets on those guys and demands their best. You could definitely see that, and I love that he has a staff around the team that can get everyone excited. This will only make his fire burn more and make this defense more complete. That's how you finish games.by RamJr - RamsFootballFans.com
McCleod was on his way up and he was covering great in his final season with the Rams. Really started to show his range in that game where he killed Emmanuel Sanders on the sideline throw.by RamJr - RamsFootballFans.com
I mean, that offensive pass interference, I believe it was the second 2-pt conversion, wasn't that difficult to see. Honestly, as they were driving down and they tied the game, I was thinking to myself, alright these guys are the best. It stings, but after a while you just have to give it to them. On the other hand, they had to have A LOT go there way to allow that comeback to happen and every siby RamJr - RamsFootballFans.com
One linebacker I really like is Jayron Brown from UCLA. I covered one game of theirs this season and he was all over the place making play after play. He's extremely athletic and can cover pretty well too. Had three picks and allowed only a 50.4 passer rating against.by RamJr - RamsFootballFans.com
I was trying to gauge where he will go since, like you said, he's all over the place on others' boards. I think in the end he goes in the top-3 three rounds, and rightfully so. The 2nd round would not surpsrise me at all, as I liked what I saw from him and he has some ridiculous moves in the open field. I would love to have this guy on the Rams.by RamJr - RamsFootballFans.com
Have you taken a look at Carlos Henderson out of LA Tech? This guy is ridiculous! I feel like he is what Percy Harvin was supposed to be, but couldn't sustain it. He gained over half of his yards this season after the catch and averaged almost 20 YPC over his three years there. I really like this guys speed, strength, and he seems to try and score every time he gets the ball and his 19 touchdownsby RamJr - RamsFootballFans.com
Really like Kevin King and really like Douglas as well. Though Douglas played A LOT of off-coverage at West Virginia and they were saying he was really grabby in one-on-ones when playing press. Lot's of size though, and had eight interceptions, 10 passes defended, and 47.4 QB rating against on 95 passes thrown at him.by RamJr - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteFlipper336 Quoteoldmanram I got to disagree with you Flip, I saw Zay Jones twice this yr and came away very impressed. In the games I saw him he had double digit catches in each game. He held up very well as the go to reciever. He played the same way in the Sr bowl as I saw him earlier in the yr. He is a snatch and grab useing his hands to catch with out a lot of the ball in to his body. Inby RamJr - RamsFootballFans.com
Just read that King got toasted by Kupp for a deep touchdown. I've been hearing nothing but Kupp for the last two days. I think he shoots up boards into the first.by RamJr - RamsFootballFans.com
I thought there were rumors that Thompson will assume a different role and Eliot Wolfe or someone else was going to take over as the GM? Could be why he and others pulled out of contention for the 49ers GM job. Not 100 percent sure on that, but it would make sense. Imagine Rodgers on a team with a competent defense and one that was willing to sign free agents.by RamJr - RamsFootballFans.com
Well what do you have for 31+ yard attempts. I feel the 29 extra passes of 20+ yards has racked up more completions and yards than the 31+ yard attempts.by RamJr - RamsFootballFans.com
I'd consider deep passing to be 20+ yards down the field and Goff/Keenum combined for 53 of those while Cousins had 82, which was 3rd most in the entire league.by RamJr - RamsFootballFans.com
Just read that Takarrist McKinley is pulling out of the Senior Bowl due to a Labrum injury that may need surgery. Not sure how much this drops his stock, if at all, but if he falls even a little, some team is going to be very lucky.by RamJr - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotealyoshamucci So, this was more than a little frustrating. While I scout for 3-4 teams and assign 3-4 designators to some players .. I have never evaluated for us in that manner. What I'm working with ... Brockers and Cam Thomas can play the nose. Sims and Brockers can 5 tech ... Donald can likely do anything. I am not worried about the front 3 or 4 ... we may need depth there, but I don'by RamJr - RamsFootballFans.com
I'd like to see if the Rams could get him to be OC or whatever his title would be. He is currently the offensive line coach in Green Bay and he has done an amazing job with that line. He's held that title in Green Bay since 2007 and he needs a promotion. I would bet they block it though as they did with Alex Van Pelt when the Rams tried to get him from the Packers before ultimately choosing Cigneby RamJr - RamsFootballFans.com

If not him than Brandon Marshall for a year would be nice. He is a great leader, when he's invested. He usually wears his welcome out after three seasons, so anything less than three would be perfect for the Rams while they wait to draft their No. 1.by RamJr - RamsFootballFans.com
Early reports are suggesting that the Jets are going to cut Brandon Marshall in the offseason. I wouldn't mind seeing the Rams sign him to a one-year deal and D-Jax for a couple of years. Wouldn't hurt to get two players like that on the team if the price is right. Though they are both no in their primes, they are more than serviceable and would open things open for everyone instantly.by RamJr - RamsFootballFans.com
Ricky Proehl has stepped down from his wide receiver coach position with the Panthers. They said he wants to watch his kids more, but would love to see him in some sort of role with the Rams.by RamJr - RamsFootballFans.com
McVay's offense was in 11 personnel 71% of the time. The next closest was 12 with 16% of the plays ran. The NFL average of 11 personnel is 59% of plays.by RamJr - RamsFootballFans.com
If they traded him, the dead money would be $4 million with a savings of $7 million. If they cut him, they have $9 million in dead money and save two. He will be on the team next year and I'm sure he will be used to his strengths. If he puts on some weight, he could play all over the place and even play some OLB. He plays with a lot of tenacity and instincts.by RamJr - RamsFootballFans.com
I thought Landry was going back to school? Maybe is was a different player from BC. Either way, I liked him too. I can't believe Price is that low! I wouldn't blink if they took him in the 2nd, but he was there in the 3rd, I'd run to put that pick in.by RamJr - RamsFootballFans.com
I was looking at more players at the position as well, as I usually overlook primarily OLB since the Rams ran a 3-4. I was aware of them, but I never put too much time into looking at them. There are a few players I looked at that could be sitting there when the Rams’ first pick in the 2nd comes. There are going to be some talented edge rushers there, it’s been stated here many times that the greby RamJr - RamsFootballFans.com
I hope the Dodgers send them a letter saying the had better reconsider that choice.by RamJr - RamsFootballFans.com
I've never ran a front office before, but what do you do when you have two people the same in your eyes? What's the deciding factor? Probably getting a head start. I'd be absolutely estatic with Shannahan, but McVay has me very optimistic that he can bring in some big names and develop this roster. Really, I'm okay with either of these two.by RamJr - RamsFootballFans.com
I think it depends on the results of this Saturday's game against he Seahawks. I'm speculating that the Rams prefer Shannahan, but are just as high on McVay. If the Falcons win, I'd expet McVay 100%. If they lose, things get interesting and I believe it's Shanahan's to lose. It seems they are getting ready to name McVay the coach if they have to wait on Shannahan in order to get things going. Quotealyoshamucci I have all the tape ... and While I may not have watched to my heart's content ... I am satisfied with my preliminary rankings. I am working with rankings, suggesting that players go far higher than they are projected ... as my grades usually are closer to right than the boards have them now. One thing I will mention is that this class may not have an actual left tacklby RamJr - RamsFootballFans.com
When I said get two of the three, I was saying that McDaniels would be head coach with Vrabel being the defensive coordinator. Vrabel is currently the linebackers coach of the Texans so could be willin to link up with one of those two to become DC.by RamJr - RamsFootballFans.com
I think it all be in what they are trying to sell him. Maybe they are trying to get two of the three.by RamJr - RamsFootballFans.com
