I have all the tape ... and While I may not have watched to my heart's content ... I am satisfied with my preliminary rankings.

I am working with rankings, suggesting that players go far higher than they are projected ... as my grades usually are closer to right than the boards have them now.

One thing I will mention is that this class may not have an actual left tackle, so Im not even going to bother trying. Centers, two of my favorites went back to school, but if Elflein or Pocic makes the 3rd I'd strongly consider there there.

I think we're okay at DT, just want replacements for the edges.

2) Cordrea Tankersly CB Clemson I am a fan of Clemson DBs, and Tankersly has done an amazing job his entire career. Big, ball skills, and can tackle. Put him opposite Tru and it's a formidable pair going forward.
-I would take Demarcus walker or Solomon Thomas here, but they won't get that far.

3-5) Daeshon Hall, DE T A and M. He's just bigger and more athletic than teams are seeing right now. Underrated run stopper with pass rush ability.
-There will be some WRs here, but not good enough to warrant a pick that could be had later.

4-5) Josh Reynolds WR T A and M (Darboh, Taykwon Williams, Bug Howard, also potentials here). Size, body control, aggression and hands.

4-35) Luani FS Wash State ... I've been watching this kid and have no idea why he isn't listed higher. He is the stud of the defense, is 6-2 210 with ball skills.

5) Jeremy Sprinkle TE ARK Mainly thinking of him as a blocker at 6-5 270 ... but has great hands and a huge frame. Harkey and Kendricks in one player, freeing up Higbee to focus on passing routes.

6) Basham DE Ohio 6-5 270 .. a little raw ... and needs some strength training

6) Fred Ross WR Miss St. ... grossly underrated 6-2 205 with great feet and hands. I think he and Mike Thomas battle it out for the last spot.

7) Rouille C Wyoming ... I have him as a backup that could develop.

I am still doing progressions ... but the class this year is DE and S, then CB has a really high top end, then a drop off towards the end with guys that won't make our team. A CB, in order to beat out what we have, will need to be taken in the top 2 of our picks (the 3rd round should have starter level talent sliding there too).

I have NOT looked into small school kids and am taking suggestions throughout the process. So please, thoughts and comments welcome.

When I get bored, I like to play on Fanspeak and try and do realistic drafts and if they still have players that decided to go back I won't pick them, but I wish I would have screenshotted all of them. Those guys in red are in my selections 80% of the time, depending on the way the the players fall. Now, I'm not putting any stock into that website, but I'm just saying, I would absolutely love that draft there. I looked away from the National Championship the other day and when I looked back someone cracked 6'2" 240 Bo Scarborough short of the first down and I didn't see who it was at first and they said Tankersl, emphasis on the Tank. I really like this guy and if he is there at their 2nd pick, I hope they run to the podium. him and Trumain will be some long physical corners that can cover a lot of ground.

I have no idea why Basham is so low on people's boards at the moment. I honestly like him more than Hall and think he will go much higher, but if he falls to the 6th, that team will be very happy.

One guy I feel is much lower on people's boards for safety is Nathan Gerry from Nebraska. He has been great all three years he has played. This guys has seen 95 targets in his coverage and have 13 interceptions to go with 11 passes defended, that's over 25% of targets thrown at him. I've stated my appreciation for Josh Reynolds before and I'd love to have that guy, and could even add some weight to that 6'4" frame to be more dominant on those jump balls. Also really like Taywan Taylor of WKU at receiver. I imagine we both leave out Corey Davis and Mike Williams as I don't see them having a chance to fall that far.

I agree on tackles this year, the one guy I wouldn't mind seeing getting a chance is Andreas Knappe from Conneticut. He doesn't get much recognition, but he has performed extremely well this year. Much better than last year and like his first season, so I think he has a lot of potential and he can be had late. Also, I'm holding out for my original hope of signing JC Tretter as a free agent at center, hoping to shore it up for four or five years.

Overall, great draft! I'd be very excited with this incoming group of players.
