When I first mentioned him he was projected anywhere from 5th to UDFA, now, I don't see him making it out of the 2nd round.by RamJr - RamsFootballFans.com
This guy could play receiver in the NFL and Could still play some TE. Honestly, I look at him at #37 as a possilble receiver threat no matt where he lines up. With Higbee, I think they make a good tandem on the field at the same time.by RamJr - RamsFootballFans.com
Jason La Canfora said the 49ers and Rams were "doing work" on Tony Romo. I don't buy that as they can't even afford him, but no thanks.by RamJr - RamsFootballFans.com
They have until it's signed to rescind their tag, see Josh Norman last year. I guess it's technically possible they tagged him as insurance and could see who hits free agency and then get their guy while rescinding the tag. This would probably not be a good look for the team with other players around the league though.by RamJr - RamsFootballFans.com
Nevermind on that, he's playing line. Measured in at 6'7", 321lbs.by RamJr - RamsFootballFans.com
He usually seems to wear his welcome out after a few seasons with a team after playing really well the first couple. I fell he'd only be there for two seasons and he will play hard to finish his career. This guy would be a great signing for this team.by RamJr - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm going to respectfully disagree with you when you say that Tankersley seems scheme dependent. This guy has great instincts and plays aggresively, so he can play press-man and zone corner. He has great size and can close very well, especially with his size. Change of direction and fluid hips are also something he has, I'd love to have him manning the other side of the field. It would be like thby RamJr - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm sure you're asking Aly, but I will give my input on that matter as well. I think both guys are solid at that slot and I also lean Tankersley. He is one of my favorite corners in this draft class and he does not shy away from laying the wood either. Great coverage skills and 2+ years of solid production. He has been my target for the Rams at 37 since the season ended unless someone else falls,by RamJr - RamsFootballFans.com
I'd imagine this guy will be a project that gets preferred UDFA status or even "Mr. Irrelevant" honors with the length of his arms. He only saw 217 snaps over the course of three years in college. He looks pretty fit with his 6'08" frame and I wonder if he could play more of a TE/extra O-Line role if he played at a lower weight. I'm curious to see how he moves in the drills and howby RamJr - RamsFootballFans.com
I don't have any video readily available, but I could maybe get something together.by RamJr - RamsFootballFans.com
Two guys I like late or possibly as UDFAs are: Sam Tevi, Utah Andreas Knappe, UCONN(Not on the list)by RamJr - RamsFootballFans.com
Cuts to come. I feel Sims and Kendricks are gone. Quinn is a good person so I can see him re-structuring for the team.by RamJr - RamsFootballFans.com
In my opninion, I think it's 100% impossible since he has the talents be be at the top of draft boards. This guy is absolutely ridiculous and if he is picked anything lower than 14, I'd be shocked. Though it happens every year.by RamJr - RamsFootballFans.com
Now this guy would be an absolute beast in Wade's defense. Too bad they don't have Cleveland Money this year.by RamJr - RamsFootballFans.com
I hear you in that the offense is obviously something that needs to change. My hope is they have enough money to sign a guard, a center, and a wide receiver in free agency. Odds are that with their first pick in the draft, cornerback will be too good to pass up with all of the talent that will fall. If not, I honestly want them taking someone for the edge as it's loaded as well, but that could alby RamJr - RamsFootballFans.com
Yeah, this guy has amazing arm talent. I'm not sure if you're suggesting something here, but this guy's draft has skyrocketed and will likely go in the first round now, so if you're hinting at a flier on him, it's not going to happen. I covered a few of Texas Tech's games this year and the one against Oklahoma was truly insane.by RamJr - RamsFootballFans.com
And with the depth in this draft, they could be okay losing him next offseason if he demands too much. I honestly think that's why they want to tag him this year, so they can groom their rookie CBs and not be tied to a big contract. Though, if they don't like what they get out of those young guys, he could be back.by RamJr - RamsFootballFans.com
I can all but guarantee you that this top-10 won't see a second of free agency.by RamJr - RamsFootballFans.com
I think the Byrd situation was more forcing a square peg in a round hole. If I'm not mistaken, they tried playing him like the Seahawks do with Earl Thomas in a cover-3 scheme and it wasn't a fit for him. They signed him and decided not to play to his strengths, which was on them and the amazing staff they have there.by RamJr - RamsFootballFans.com
I don't think he's like Manziel at all. This seems like a young and dumb type incident. Manziel was a seemed to look for ways to be a fool. Not to mention, Mayfield is far beyond Manziel's level of play. I'm sure this won't effect him moving forward, people will be more concerned about his size than this arrest. Two years at Oklahoma: 522-for-756 69% completion rate 7,662 yards 76 TDs 1by RamJr - RamsFootballFans.com
I wouldn't be surprised if they were trying to get some extra room to spend some money in free agency. A guy I could really see them coveting is Melvin Ingram, who Wade Philips saw a lot of in Denver. 27 year-old edge defender that always seems to get pressure on the QB, as shown by the 20 sacks and 90 QB hurries in the past two seasons. This would be a huge grab for them if they signed him as thby RamJr - RamsFootballFans.com
If they grab a LB, that's who I want. This guy is explosive and great in coverage too.by RamJr - RamsFootballFans.com
I honestly see Tankersly or Rasul Douglas as targets of his at CB. He likes the physical corners that make plays on the ball. That being said, Lattimore fits that mold as well, with great movement skills for his size.by RamJr - RamsFootballFans.com
Garcon has been great for the last five years. He would be a great addition plus he knows the system. He would easily be the No. 1 on the team to start the season. He only had one drop last year and eight in the last three years total and no fumbles either. I've always like his game and the way he plays and if they got a receiver in the first few rounds, which there is talent to be had, the receiby RamJr - RamsFootballFans.com
Robinson's value would be down after last season, but with the year before that his price tag would be ridiculous. I doubt they could pull that off. Though they do have Allen Hurns, so maybe a trade of Tavon Austin and then a decent draft pick probably, but I still don't see it.by RamJr - RamsFootballFans.com
Mixon will be long gone before the 7th. I honestly expect a team to take him in the 2nd round maybe 3rd.by RamJr - RamsFootballFans.com
Something about Private Partnerships and non-disclosure agreements. if you have Wall Street Journal, you can see the article about the NY Giants going public about their use of PFF data.by RamJr - RamsFootballFans.com
Was that in 2008? That's not even half of the amount of NFL teams that have exclusive partnerships with PFF. That also hasn't even dabbled in all of the FBS programs. Also, what do you think of the Senior Bowl? It's a pretty important event and there is an exclusive partnership between the two for their analysts to come and grade everything from the practices, one-on-ones, and the actual game. Thby RamJr - RamsFootballFans.com
Well I will respectfully disagree that they have a numerical script that people cite without any understanding. The staff is also made up of former players with in-depth knowledge of schemes and assignments. There is no template for how a player is graded and I find it hard to believe that scouting departments are willing to "blindly" follow with no explanation.by RamJr - RamsFootballFans.com
