Stick with it a bit. Looks like getting off tackle is the better option or maybe we could actually find a lane for cutback in the middle.by PSJRam - Game Time Forum
I dunno, the 10-15 yard passes are getting completed. It's the shorter passes that are a nightmare!by PSJRam - Game Time Forum
LOL. Maybe so!by PSJRam - Game Time Forum
It's nearly midnight here in FL and my dumb arse is still watching. If the Rams give up points before they score any points I'm calling it a night. IF it was even competitive I'd stay and watch. Come on, man!by PSJRam - Game Time Forum
Agreed. Why always week 4 before team ready to play?????????by PSJRam - Game Time Forum
DEs with no containment and Rams still can't deal with the cutback. Also time to shadow the qb.by PSJRam - Game Time Forum
- So what! How about we move on and pull for the team that WILL be on the field. - The idea that this team is ruined if he doesn't turn in to a superstar is BS. It's not the time of when SB was the #1 pick and teams were hamstrung by dumping so much $ in to the one position. - The idea that if he doesn't start this year, then it was a wasted pick is also BS. If he's not the beby PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com
If my assessment is accurate and Goff isn't able to follow through on a good portion of his throws: - Is this a result of him mostly playing with 2nd, 3rd string OL and the DL getting deeper push more often than they normally would? - Is this a result of him not having enough snaps under center in his career to use his feet properly to get the proper depth on his drop backs. What are you guysby PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I don't really have the time to go back and watch the snaps Goff has taken from under center in the PS. But, with what I've seen watching him live it appears his drops ( 3 and 5 step) are not as deep as you see most NFL QBs have. Especially on the 3 step drops, Goff never seems able to follow through because even a little D-line push would result in Goff hitting his hand on a player or helmet.by PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com
My boy (who is now 16) is not a huge football fan. But, if he has a team... it's the damn Packers! Kids won a quarter in a bet 5 or 6 years back when the pack beat the steelers in the SB. My daughter (12) will sit with me and watch the games. She's a Rams fan for sure. She's become pretty knowledgeable from watching and talking with my father and I as we watch and scream at the TV during the gaby PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteLARams17BUT look at what our front office did. Mortgaged the future for a QB. Ask yourself, would they have done that if they thought Keenum was the guy to take them to the playoffs? They could have drafted Paxton or Dak and kept all of this year's and next year's draft choices. They made their move and that should speak volumes. I agree with this but... I do think JG was/is the most &by PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm not revealing my father's handle on the board. It's not that he's controversial or anything, but when we agree, or disagree, I don't want anyone thinking any more of it than 2 football fans sharing thoughts, insights, opinions and knowledge. I hope you will understand that reasoning.by PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I agree RockRam, mostly. My only concern is that when Kelly brought that new offense to Philly, it caught teams off-guard early in the season and with the changes in key roles in the Rams defense this year, I think it takes the "D" 4-5 games to start to gel. I hate to have to rely on the offense this early in the season, but I actually think the "O" is going to have be theby PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com
No real surprises here other than maybe Coples for the first round of cuts. He seemed invisible to me so far this PS but read that he had 2 FF and a sack. Have to think they just have younger, cheaper options with similar capabilities today and more upside for the future. The DL is really stacked with talent and I hope they can create enough pressure, quickly, to help what I think is a defenby PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Been following the board for years and my father has been posting for longer than I've been reading the threads. Great and insightful bunch of folks here and I really like most of the posts other than some of the BS where people take pokes at each other. I don't mind disagreement or debate but I like it when it adds to or enhances the thread. Been a fan since birth back in 1968, thanks to groby PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com
