Been following the board for years and my father has been posting for longer than I've been reading the threads.
Great and insightful bunch of folks here and I really like most of the posts other than some of the BS where people take pokes at each other. I don't mind disagreement or debate but I like it when it adds to or enhances the thread.
Been a fan since birth back in 1968, thanks to growing up in SoCal and my "pop" being a fan. Heck, I can remember times that I had to stand there with my hands on the rabbit ears in order to improve the broadcast signal of our antenna for games. Also remember driving 1.5 hours north in order to avoid black-outs.
Was odd, but didn't matter much to me when Rams moved to STL. I was living up in Seattle (Hawks in AFC back then) so I wasn't able to follow things as closely as I had. But, the Rams were my team and where they were based out of didn't/doesn't matter to me.
Had the pleasure of watching the '99 SuperBowl victory with my dad at my home in Seattle as he was there visiting for the birth of my son. What a great 2 week period of time that was.
Anyway, I'm happy to be an "official" member of the club and hope that I may have something valuable to add from time to time. At the very least, I can "raz" my father when he steals my insights and passes them off as his original thoughts. Yes, Pop, you know you do it.
Here's to an improved Rams team in 2016/2017.
