QB. I think the competition for QB starter is gonna be fierce now that we have Bortles in the ring. It's too early to call at this point and I gotta say, I'm not sure who I would prefer!by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteAtlantic Ram Goff in his first year under McVay did pretty well and he was considered by many a bust. Bortles has taken a team deep into the playoffs if I am not mistaken. I am also not aware of him getting the help that Goff does from his surrounding players. I am also a bit skeptical of the coaching he had. So if Bortles all of a sudden starts lighting up the field will the reason be beby RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRockRam It's not that the article wasn't funny and witty. But if you remove the F from his keyboard, this writer would have to go back to his day job at Burger King. And that's the way it is with movies, comedians, even late night show hosts in the 21st Century. And this is supposed to be the Enlightened age of intellectualism? I like preseason because it gives you a chance to get an early look at the rookies. I like to have an idea of what we have waiting in the wings. Also, this year especially, like you mentioned, getting a look at Bortles. No, he is not a great QB but I think he is a huge improvement over Mannion. So it'll be good to see how he does in McVay's system. Let's go!by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com

Quotemerlin He's a top offensive mind, sure. But he's also hungry to improve and learn and build a deeper knowledge of the game. He has surrounded himself with top coaches that keep him grounded and who are teaching him. And that's the thing about him IMO... He's not an egomaniac the way a lot of top NFL minds are. Full disclosure, I didn't read the article, just the post. Notice "a Louisiana judge." This is just ridiculous and I'm afraid it is opening a can of worms that won't be able to be closed. Imagine something like that play happens sometime in 2019. Well, a precedent has been set, so why not file a suit! Absolutely ridiculous.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com

Personally I could not care less what any talking head has to say about our 2019 chances. That doesn't mean I would agree with them, it's just that I don't think it's anything to get worked up about. If he thinks we're going to go 8-8, so be it. I think that chances of that happening are pretty low but you can't rule it out 100%. Quotejemach Stats lie. I watched this aspect of the Rams game all season long...specifically...just like I did the red zone. Quotecool_hand_luke I'm excited to see the Cardinals offense play this year. Kyler was a highly successful college QB in an offense where he threw intermediate and deep passes frequently.
