I want Higgins. How can you franchise a WR? Isn't that like 30 million ? Then we have Kupp, Higgins, and Nacua for Stafford and our next QB.by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
Nice. Makes the game I'm flying out to see with Sun Yzu winnable.by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
Easy... Mike knows him. We like him or we don't.by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
Left tackle as a ten year mainstay, which both top guys are I believe, might be more important than QB ... Jared Goff with a premium O line is a different QB.by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
Then Penix is out, too. I didn't know it was both.by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
I can't disagree honestly ... injuries are the result of something almost intangible ... hence Peyton and Eli Manning literally never getting injured regardless of their frame. I can only hope that a year with a clipboard and strength and conditioning staff would lessen it. I really like Maye. A note ... one thing I like about both McCarthy and Maye is that they know how to use TEs.by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
as usual we're seeing the same things. There's the 3 non QBs, then I could wait till round 2 basically for non QB. I'm needing more persuasion with Nix, likely because I've seen him make so many really bad plays and throws over his career, that I haven't been able to erase them yet. He could easily grow on me, and he's a good leader. I have the same with McCarthy, his Ohio State game andby alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
Jack Jones is not a patriot. He's not a belicheck guy. Doesn't mean he's not a rams guy. Specifically he's from LA. I know I'm splitting hairs because I like the kids ability ... but he's more of an attitude guy than a head case from my tracking him since USC. My guess he'll end up in Pittsburgh and they could make a pro bowler out of him.by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm seeing McCarthy end up with the Pats, and Drake Maye sliding to "close to" us as a result. Question is, how much do I like Quinn Ewers? All 3 top guys are athletes. Ewers slightly less so, but he comes in with similar offensive experience to McVay's offense (not because they're the same, but because Sark and McVay have talked concepts) I like Drake Maye enough to just take hiby alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
Higs is a complex case. His run blocking most days is really important. Knowledge of the playbook can't be understated. Normally his hands are above average. This year they are suspect. And it wasn't just a couple instances. My guess is kinda simple math, but he's likely got nerve damage from all the blocking. Something you can't really test for ... he'd have to tell you. I likeby alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
It is. Do not draft a young QB with no playmakers or O line. You can draft one without defense because he'll get to throw a lot. As a note ... Bryce Young is making theilen look like an all pro again. Trevor Lawrence's first year was garbage. That was situational. This is likely also. Kid is a hard worker.by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com

Agreed. My hope is that something like 4/35 gets it done.by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
I will keep showing the math on this, and NFL . com backed me up ... Race for the 7th spot includes 5 teams ... (With the Saints taking the NFC south) Vikings are the favorite ... but they're led by Josh Dobbs. Falcons are next ... led by Taylor Heinecke. 5 wins and 4 wins respectively. Commanders have 4 wins. They also have a young signal caller, and traded away two premium edge rby alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
Resign at a mid level contract, or he wants more and we get a 4th or 5th comp pick.by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
Might have been cost prohibitive? I mean we didn't have 5 mil to spare. Getting him the week of? Maybe?by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
Not to be nit picky ... But with a QB that is no threat to beat you with the pass how can you block adequately? I'll give them a mulligan.by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
I think you make good points ... amd honestly we're pretty lucky that TE and RB and ILB can generally be had in mid rounds. Like I could say Tahj Brooks Isaac Rex And Tyrone Hopper And call it a day in the 4-6th rounds. BUT it needs to be addressed because we have guys there that can't get on the field. Big thing to me is the head/arm of the signal caller. I think we HAVE toby alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
I'll say it again, if he'd earned the job we wouldn't have given literally everyone else a shot but him. If he was close he'd get a look. That tells you how not close he is.by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
Not if he hasn't earned it. Period.by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
So, you suspect that either Arizona or Chicago could be convinced to bypass one of the two top-rated QB's? Well ... Caleb is pretty serious about who he'll play for. So the questions becomes how much do the Bears or Cardinals like Drake Maye? JJ McCarthy might sneak up here also with a good playoff. If you're the Bears, you have the option of drafting on top of someone on their rookie contrby alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com

Maybe that'll change. I just doubt it.by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
In fact we can likely wait til frame 2. It's a better class than advertised initially. That said, I'm making a run at Tee Higgins ... Bengals can't franchise him and can't afford two 30 million dollar WRs. He's a splash WR in a situation where he could hit free agency when a player of his caliber rarely would. We're in a spot where we can afford him, as Kupp ages out of his prime through 20by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
No. I just know the nfc is bad and we had a chance at stealing the last spot because we have a top 10 QB. We still do. If we were in the afc we wouldn't be having this conversation. Last playoff spot is going to come down to vikings, falcons, commanders, bucs, and us.by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
Pretty surprised to see the doom and gloom ... we were playing with a player who should not be on a roster as our QB. There are plenty of negatives to spit venom at, but most of it is personnel moves or a lack thereof. I want to get this out of the way tonight because blech. The Great 1) Byron Young. 5 sacks now ... looking at double digits pacing, especially since he's had 2 calledby alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
Even if we're 3-6. The teams fighting for the 3rd wild card are Us Vikings (no QB, and no Jefferson) Commanders (just traded away two edges) Saints or Falcons or Bucs (whichever is the best to not win the division) It's going to be one of those ^^ That's math. Could the Bears make a run? Doubt it. This assumes Cowboys and Seahawks are in. There is no reason to assume an 8-9 teaby alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
Can they do things to influence games? Yes. Are games influenced by unconscious bias also? Yes. Are there means of tracing money and digital footprints that make organized corruption REALLY difficult? Yes. We're within striking distance of McCarthy and maybe even Maye. But ... Fuaga is worth a pick there if we're confident Matt can make it another year. He's on the right side, as is Latham on Bama ... but is more capable of making the switch ... last one to do so was Alaric's teammate Tristan Wirfs. AJ stayed on the left with Wirfs on the right at Iowa. I don't think Fuaga is AS athleticby alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
