To me, he played very well in the preseason, and for whatever reason, they stayed with Wolf as the backup. The only question I have is the arm strength and that is only because I don't know how strong his arm is. His college highlights show he can throw it deep and his feet and ability outside the pocket make him a great second if we ever needed it with Stafford starting. Fangio while better at coaching this scheme is more of the same.by RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
Who goes down easily for the Rams? Kupp? Sony? Higbee? C'mon...yep the Niners are more physical than the Rams...but cmon.by RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
There is nobody else to blame this time.by RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
I said it was Ramsey on the three biggest breakdowns in coverage yesterday. The WR pass the game Tying TD and the big play to Deebo. He flat out got caught gambling and Jimmy G made him and the Rams look like chumps.by RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
Yes, it was Ramsey who cheated to the flat (which Rapp had covered up) when he had deep 1/4....then 46 yards later and the game was lost right there. The Rams were confused and out of sorts that entire drive, what a freaking mess of blown assignments and blown coverages.by RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
He seems to have picked it up the past few games.by RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
It was him on the trick pass and it was him at the end with a 7 point lead letting Deebo get behind him for a 46 yard gain. Don't blame the coach or ask him to put Ramsey on Deebo when he was in position and on Deebo he got torched by a guy with a torn-up throwing hand. Morris has him on Deebo when it mattered the most and Ramsey got burned period.by RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
The offensive line and the Rams head coach. The Oline was a disaster in this game, simply dominated as I have never seen before. This was worse than the Titans game, how is that even possible? Every single play a Niners player was in the Rams backfield, it was pathetic. As upset as I am with Stafford he made enough plays for this team considering there was no running game and he got beat upby RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
Fangio would be a fantastic hire imo. I like the way he coaches.by RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
He has had a bad habit of well underthrowing the deep ball. OBJ was five yards behind the guy...Put it out there for him and the darn game is over. If anything overthrow them Matt....at least then you get another down.by RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
He gave up the TD on the trick play. He came up when he was supposed to be in coverage likely the deep 1/4. He makes a great pick to save the team. This was as good of a play as any player can make. He gambles to the flat when Rapp had it covered and gave up the gut-wrenching 46-yard catch and run to that set up the tie game. It's not Morris's fault that the Rams can't tackle and theyby RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
I felt like that drop he had in the Ravens game was just a huge drop. It was right before the missed FG and would have been a first down into the red zone. It wasn't a great throw by Stafford, it was high and a touch behind him but it hit both his hands and he was wide open. It's the kind of catch that changes games and makes a good team great and a good WR a ProBowl WR. When a team's WR'by RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
Would be huge to get him back in a week or two.by RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
I still am in fact, before Fisher the Rams were terrible. Fisher and Snead laid the groundwork for the current state of the Rams. For making them tougher and competitive again and for drafting Donald I will be forever thankful. I appreciate what Jeff Fisher did do for the Rams, he made them a better more competitive football team. I love the current coach and GM and love the way this organizatby RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
Seriously he is an important piece of this team. He is a legit threat in the return game. Thank goodness they made him a full-time roster guy. It wouldn't be a bad idea for Coach to put in an offensive package for him and try to get him the ball in space a little bit, guy has a knack for yards. Would love to see him line up in the backfield for them and take a handoff and run some RB routby RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
Because Van Jefferson was wide open for a big gain 3rd down or not. That deep interception likely cost the Rams at least an FG shot and Gay is going to make most kicks. If he just checks it down to Jefferson who was clearly in his field of view it's a huge chunk gain and a first down. That is the play he needs to make in the playoffs. Check it down, throw it away or eat it and take the sacby RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
Rapp was too deep, maybe how do any of us or the writer know.. He doesn't and neither do we. It just looks like some kind of miscommunication between the two obviously. As far as him saying heavy right again he is likely just saying the defense's right which is a backward way to look at it and again kinda makes me wonder how much he really knows. At first glance, I thought Ramsey was askingby RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
The Rams beat the Niners this week and it knocks them out of the playoffs. Or The Rams beat the Niners this week and play them again next week and beat them again to knock them out of the playoffs. Beautiful.by RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
But I think that's why those guys were on the PS, to begin with. An in case of emergency break the glass deal...by RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
They have to keep him right? He is the best return guy they have had in a very long time. He is a legitimate threat to take it back every time. I can't stress enough how huge that play was in the Ravens game where he back peddled and caught an absolute howitzer of a punt over his shoulder and returned it 15 yards or so to set the Rams up for a scoring drive. If he doesn't field that punt aby RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
Keep in order: Sony Michel- He won't kill the cap and he has proven invaluable this year, likely 3rd behind Kupp and Stafford on O for MVP Odell Beckham Jr.- He wants to be here and give him an offseason and comfort zone with Stafford and have fun figuring who to cover. Brian Allen- Pro Bowl Alt - Homegrown, it's time to keep the zone O-lineman they have developed. Austin Corbett - Solid staby RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
Has he been inactive or is he injured? He hasn't played since the Green Bay game. I wonder why?by RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
Those were clearly bad mistakes. The long pass was awful, Jefferson was freaking wide open....Huge error by Stafford. The one with the wrong route I can see it both ways. It was man to man and Stafford read it as man and threw it to the man beater route...The wrong route put too many Ravens in the area and that safety who was covering someone else and read the play and jumped the route caught theby RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
But the Rams have to beat them to accomplish any of those things and beating the Niners and sending them home would be so great.by RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
People and fans tend to forget the other team gets paid too, the players are the best football players on earth. I would argue that the Ravens were near 100% healthy on D outside of Peters they had the team back in place. They have other injuries no doubt but so do the Rams that's football. The Ravens like Harbaugh or not are a very well-coached, tough team who were playing to keep playing atby RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
Outside of winning the Superbowl of course. The Rams beat the Niners next Sunday. Win the NFC West. Lock up the 2 seed. Knock the Niners out of the playoffs. That would be like Christmas all over again.by RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
I thought wow that's alot of WRs in the same 5-yard area seeing that pick six play live. The TE and both WR's ran the same out pattern outside the hash to the same side of the field. That is a recipe for disaster and it was.by RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
