It was alive in the way that an underbaked cake looks just fine until you take it out of the oven.

I enjoyed a few games here and there but attendance and viewership was pleasantly surprising, not strong. IMO, it wasn't even close to the quality of the USFL and that league barely survived 3 seasons. Vince McMahon probably got bailed out by the virus more than ruined by it. All the insurance for the league will kick in because of something out of his control and he'll actually be okay.
