They always seem to play a couple and sometimes three. Overall it makes it tough for one RB to amass big numbers for them. Sony seems to have put up some pretty stellar 3 year numbers for a back with limited touches. He also hasn't shown any injury concerns in the past couple years, our RB coach loves him, Coach McVay asked around to people he knows and respects with the Pats and they signed oby RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
To me this article was written by someone who knows very little about the Rams and writes a negative article for clicks and not an accurate article based on what the Rams need and what the Rams did to fill that need. Ifs and buts....The Rams weren't going to get him without going and getting him. No way he maybe gets cut and then maybe falls to the Rams through waivers. The Rams did what succby RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteClassicalwit I've always liked him, but this might be his last season with the team. Either he won't live up to expectations and the Rams will move on, or he will exceed expectations and the Rams won't be able to afford to keep him. He seems like a great teammate. He is under contract through 2023.by RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
Quoteoldschoolramfan Well 43, let's look at it this way. First pre-season game is a couple days away and the Rams are changing starting CENTERS. Rams went in to the draft needing a CENTER. Josh Myers, Creed Humphrey, Brady Christensen, Quinn Meinerz and Robert Hainsey were all on the board. DJax was already on the roster, yet the Rams chose Tutu. Now, PLAN A for the Rams is not workiby RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
A bit younger and more explosive imo, both of them are injury prone but Freeman was so good a couple seasons back.by RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
I agree no need to act like a little kid in public. However I see it the other way as well. If the Rams owe it and its due on a certain date then pay it and get it over with. Nobody looks good in this case.by RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com

Quoteferragamo79 vs the Cardinals sealed Bones' fate It looked like McVay never called that and he was furious I said this at the time, rewound and watched it a couple times and even had my wife watch and told her, "watch this honey, ST's coach just signed his own pink slip this offseason." I have no problem with Bones and his tenure in STL and LA, he did a fine job, but that mby RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
Sorry lost half my post that night and still to cranky to start over. What I think the problem is comes down to this. Poor defense, poor tackling poor scheme . Game does a rotors New online young guys, they needed to play in the preseason yes all five. Tackling had been just terrible. Quotezn Quotemax The Pats have lost both starting OTs and their starting Center. Any other team would be a mess offensively. Not the Pats. Unbelievable. This is not the first time the Patz have lost multiple OL starters. They just happen to have one of the few qbs who can play well under those conditions. They depend on a quick short passing game and Brady thrives doing that. It's noby RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
Yes the CK catch and run were fantastic, but the play Woods makes shows what this team is about....and it made my day because of the unselfishness of this kind of hustle. Great blocks maybe not, great hustle and team play no doubt. Full game highlights sorry. The Kupp play is at 8:51 on the highlights. video: Great catch and run by Kupp. Pretty nice toss by Goff. Quotekw13 Still odd that we signed Higby lomg term... I mean, why? The Rams coaches and front office know what they have in Higbee, I just don't think it can be measured on his # of catches. If he was used more as a receiver by Goff we would all likely be happy they signed him long term.by RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
1st....let me say, Hello everyone...Hope you are all doing well and enjoying this team..cause I sure as heck have been. Just wanted to chime in and say hello and chime in on a couple Saints related things that never seem to go away since the NFC Championship game. 1. Bad calls - a. It wasnt holding period. It was a terrible call. The second illegal man downfield call was also lame. He was only doing his job and blocking the guy in front of him. G Rob has been fine, i love blaming him for obvious bad holding call and then just doing his job protecting Kennum. He was just playing, if thats holding then Donald and Quinn get held 3x that bad on every single play.by RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteLesBaker He had a handful of GIFs. This was not a film room breakdown. But.......... whatever. He didnt have a good game, but.it wasnt a total loss either. He needs to attack things or he is a dead man walking. However... Its hard to play well at MLB when your Dline is as bad as the Rams was. For the supposed strength of the team that group was awful. The Rams under Snead and Fisher have made a ton of moves. Trades in the draft up and down. Results have been up and down as well. They made the biggest trade up in draft history. What i would like to see them do if it was ever available would be a trade for a WR. Not for one that is too risky however like Gordon. But this Rams FO has been busy and agressive, hasnt always worked out greby RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
Quote9er8er 16 years later. What gives tou rhat impression? He was hurt most of the preseason and that was an issue at NDSU for him as well. I dont see anything from Wentz yet either.by RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
How many passes did he have dropped this preseason? The pick last night? Bad throw, bad luck. It happens see Carson Palmer. The fumbles concern me. The protection he has had has been terrible, the help he has gotten from WRs and TEs has been worse. Of course he is struggling right now, he got almost zero help...but nobody mentions that when piling on him. Do I think he played well? Noby RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
And can catch the ball. They are all starting and playing with Keenum however. I hope if the Rams are stating Goff tonight they give him the oline and the WRs and starting TEs. Maybe we can get a real feel for the kid then and where he really is instead of looking over his shoulder waiting for Williams guy to come clean again for yet another hit or sack. Or throw to Thomas or one of the othby RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
Say what you want about Case but he has looked pretty dang sharp this preseason. He has moved the O and they have scored points. I see why they are taking care of him, because as it sits today he gives them a better shot to win games that actually count then Goff does. That wont last too long.by RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
Goff has gotten zero help from the players around him in the preseason. How can he get comfortable when getting hit constantly or his LT breaks down on every single passing play. How #63 wasnt cut in the 1st round of cuts remains a mystery to me. He has been terrible. The WRs and TEs have all dropped passes on him. I mean its mind boggling the complete # of botched catches by these cats.by RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com

We are glad youre here. We wish your other half would post more, but I bet i know why he isnt. Maybe someday he will come back too.by RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
He is playing well against starters and leading TD drives. I was as happy with Mannion as anything else i have seen this preseason, but what he did was against guys who are going to be cut and heading to regular jobs or maybe to practice squads. I dont think FIsher is afraid of anything...but I do think he and the team know CK gives them the best shot to win now and early in the season.by RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
Does anyone think for one minute Goff is really #3 or even if he is now that he is going to remain there? Fisher has always slow played his rookies on O for some reason. Guys on D on the field early and often on O not too many guys outside of the Oline get on the field right away without earning it and being ready. Right or wrong? I guess we are going to find out soon enough.by RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
Keenum is and has played pretty darn well. All the stuff about his arm strength is overplayed in some ways imo. He has and can make deep throws did it vs the Bucs and Hawks that i can remember off the top of my head. I am personally glad the Rams have him, he is playing well, he is a great teammate by all accounts and a team guy. Barnes was a huge guy to get back. He is the center piece of the Oline and he has turned into a very solid player. Smart and athletic and the guy hustles his tail off. Won me over with his play last year in game and then with that game vs the Hawks in Seattle when he saved the Rams not once but twice by hustling and recovering the fumbles.
