Just a solid solid signing for them last year. He isnt flashy but he works his tail off. The likely reason is he is close to 30 years old i believe and in the last year of his deal. The Rams have younger lineman who have as much if not more talent but need to play and they are signed long term. Most of the time when its so close the team will go with the younger player who is signed longerby RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
But do they throw it enough? That's scheme, or can they throw it enough? The personnel. Right now I am not sure its one or the other or both. Its hard to judge them because you can put the raw stats up and it looks okay, but the attempts and #s just arent impressive at all...due to the flat out lack of passing the ball more. They are 32nd passing the ball and 32nd in TD passes, bottom line isby RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
I agree on Foles but he isnt the sole reason that the Rams have had issues his melt down was just that a melt down. The Rams were effective passing the ball early last season outside of the Pittsburgh game where the receivers let the team down big time. Keenum is starting to grow on me, anyone in his position who just goes to work and keeps getting better knowing that the job really isnt his aby RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
The D is always ahead of the O early on....now the Rams O is playing them better and making plays? This early? Sounds good to me. Maybe Groh can make that big of a difference? Maybe the team is just getting better, he sure gave a ton of props to the Oline....which is music to my ears. They are big talented and deep and locked in long term for the most part on the oline, the future is lookinby RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRFIP QuoteRams_81 A high draft pick with tremendous physical talent producing average results. Sounds like a statement on Quick except he has produced far less than average results. Man they got to get some true wr talent on this team some day soon. I think they do have some talent now and I think its going to start showing up more and more.by RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
How can WR's look good when your O is 32nd passing the ball and 32nd in TD passes? Nobody fears the ball getting thrown over their head when playing the Rams right now. Do the WR's hold some responsibility? Sure they do...but the QB play and the Oline play do as well. Add in Coaching and scheme and the Rams just need to get better. The Rams have simply been awful passing the ball, get a QBby RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
Too bad Jake Long got torched and tripped the guy rushing...just another lost big play for Tavon because someone else on the team couldn't do their job.by RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com

Mental issues when mixed in with drugs and booze derail a ton of people every day. Lets hope Tre can get the help he needs and get back on track in life, because thats what matters... football is a distant memory for him.by RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
Guys struggle with catching the ball at times when they press too hard. Once you drop one....then the next catch gets harder and harder..until you are literally fighting the ball. STs or not him showing up and being called out is a good sign and it likely will translate into his confidence elsewhere. I put zero stock into the body language crap unless its to a coach ripping on him. If i wasby RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
Coming from the Rams DB's themselves so much so that Tru Johnson wanted to take every rep against him to shut him down. That is praise I will take at its face value because its not body language or a couple drops, when your franchise CB is chomping at the bit to go up against a UDFA WR that everyone knows has super physical talent 2 days in that should tell everyone something.by RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com

To see what he will get if he hits the market...I would wager he will be paid very well by someone if the Rams choose to let him go. I cant see them doing it, they just dont have enough on O to let a 10 td player walk regardless of how he scored them. 10 tds is 10 tds and there arent that many guys who scored that many TDs in the NFL last year. There are 22 total players in the NFL for 32 tby RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com

Holdover injuries from last season, he played down the stretch with them. Its likely precaution no need to rush if there is even a hint of lingering issue. Might be a solid opportunity for Battle or Williams to get some reps as well and improve the depth more. Hav will be ok and we all know he can play.by RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
I not only love the picks in the draft in Cooper and Thomas, but I love most of the UDFA additions as well in Duke, Spruce and North and McRoberts. The Rams loaded up on big talented young WRs this offseason. Camp is going to be hotly contested for roster spots. I think Quick Britt and Austin are locks and I bet the Rams carry 6 WR's this year so much real talent to choose from...and maybeby RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRams_81 All 3 are tremendously physically talented. I disagree. The talent is there, but the talent is not used well and is not developed. I agree with this. Kenny Britt makes plays when he gets opportunities. Its just that the opportunities are not that often.by RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotezn QuoteRustyRay The Rams QB play has been pretty marginal and the passing game has been towards the bottom of the league in attempts and ability to make plays. Well, in attempts, that was just 2015. And IMO that was combining Foles (who fell apart) with a young and then young and injured OL. In 2012, they were 17th in attempts per game, not 32nd. I don;t know maybe for you 17th iby RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
Just a quality human being who never takes the game of Football too serious and has his priorities directly in order. Gonna be big shoes to fill and he will be missed.by RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
Warner is such a cool guy, they just dont make them like him. I hold out hope Goff can be that guy, he has that type of personality so heres hoping he can play.by RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
And all the different ways he is able to score them are so important to what the Rams do. I have never seen one guy so maligned for what he does, when it is so clear the Rams limit him and the O has limited all the pass catchers. The Rams QB play has been pretty marginal and the passing game has been towards the bottom of the league in attempts and ability to make plays. Yet Gurley scoreby RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
A lot of this comparison stuff is not apples to apples either. The Rams passing O is not that great. Other teams with similar players are and have been much better teams all around on O. Wonder what the record for TD's called back by penalty is? I bet Austin is close to the tops in big plays lost due to stupid mistakes. Give him all the big plays he has made back and its pretty tough toby RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
Has looked dynamic? Thie team has been pretty pedestrian throwing the ball and really bad the past few years. I just cant judge his receiving #s because overall the Rams are a terrible passing team. He scores Touchdowns and on a Rams team and O that struggles to score he led the team tied with Gurley at 10 scores. TDs matter big time IMO. I dont care if its a "gadget" play orby RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
That game was 50/50 and the Rams could have won it easily. I cant remember but the Rams had the ball and were driving and made some dumb mistake that killed their chance to win. The Rams ended up losing in OT on the road. That isnt exactly and azz whopping by that great coaching the Vikings have.by RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
He really cant touch Tavon anymore he barely plays, but add in the young guy who played very well for the Viks last year and I agree with you.. The team are very familiar except Fisher doesn't cry to the media about the other teams or how they play like the Vikings wuss coach does and did.by RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
