in group play I did not fall for it... I maintained that France was the team to beat.... they're good. They are very, very good.
They aren't the only very good team, however. Maybe what they said about England is true... this just may be their WC. Except... YIKES... they meet France in the next game. Pretty sure no love lost in that match... RamUK, wherever he is, has to be one feisty and anxiety ridden Englishman right now. If you haven't watched a single WC match this is the one to see.... It's Rams vs Niners on steroids... or maybe so much bigger of a rivalry that RamUK would laugh at us for making the comparison.
I think Argentina, Messi, had seen the last of the 'glory'... can't see them getting by the Netherlands.
Two of my 'underdog' choices are still alive... Japan and Switzerland. Of the two... hmmm, not sure which has the better chance... neither has a good chance IMHO. - JamesJM
