My redundant caveat... I don't know enough about the game to do any bragging what so ever. I never saw much in team USA. Granted... their group was arguably the toughest in the WC and moving on was 'maybe' a good accomplishment in itself but never the less -
I never took them seriously in this WC. I rooted for them, of course, but my hopes were never raised for them from the very beginning. It was just a matter of time... seemed to me, and that 'time' came later than I expected.... soooooo..... good job, not trying to put them down here.... but not in the least surprised by today's outcome.
My prediction for this upcoming game - Agentina vs Australia. As the leading expert regarding soccer on this board. ( )... Argentina! Messi is the man. Ok, ok, ok... not that amazing of a prediction since every 2nd grader in the world could make the same call but since when did I ever claim to be more of a soccer expert than a 2nd grader? - JamesJM
