Or I guess that's the wrong word because I wasn't born during WWII. Those soldiers, airmen, were of a character I can't even imagine today. I know we like to think, today, that we'd 'rise to the occasion' if it came to world war... but I doubt it. And I'm including MY generation here... NOT just the youth of today.

I don't think the world will ever see again men, and women, with that level of resolve.

My Dad didn't fight in WWII... he fought in Korea... my uncles, however, did.. and many of the men near my Dad's age and were friends of mine did fight in WWII... amazing humans - not sure how else to say it.
