For the 2019 Saints game. After the game, we took the train back to Culver City and were headed West on I-10 back to the Holiday Inn. We were soooooo close to Santa Monica but we were tired after the game and just wanted to eat and get back to the Hotel. SHOULD have sucked it up and gone anyway. Speaking of I-10. It was cool knowing we were just a mile or two from where I-10 meets the Pacific. It STARTS right here in Jacksonville.
When in L.A. We probably should have stayed just one more day. I would have liked to have seen the Hollywood sign and the Walk of fame. BUUUUUUT...another day and my Wife would assume that me and Diane Lane are hooking up!! sigh.
All kidding aside, I SHOULD have done more homework before heading to L.A. I decided to do that trip on a relatively quick whim. It was very cool standing in the Atlantic Ocean, here at Jax Beach on Friday and the next day, stand in the Pacific. After seeing the Battleship Iowa, we went to a nice Park on the Coast close to Long Beach. DANG!!! That water was cold!
