than the book.. I've heard a lot of people say the same, but I'm sure the book has its defenders, as well.. There's just some stuff in the book that's, imo WAY unnecessary and the movie has more exciting scenes.. I don't wanna specifically mention anything cuz I don't wanna spoil it for anyone.. Although the book/movie are almost 50 years old lol
