That's usually the case, in fact, when this happens.

As I've said before... I'm that person that needs to apologize to bands that have recorded big hits or at least got radio airplay. I have never paid enough attention to 'names', not for the name of the band OR the name of the songs. There are a lot of exceptions, for sure, but many bands and songs I've loved over the years I know well but could never tell you who recorded the song or even the name of the song.
