Me personally... I couldn't do that... start watching a series beginning with the 4th or 5th season. I have to watch them from the beginning, season 1, episode 1.
I'd feel like I'd be missing too much by skipping them. There are often references to previous episodes in later scripts and they wouldn't make sense to me unless I'd seen them.
