Hurricanes give days...WEEKS worth of warnings. Tornadoes?? SECONDS! I was stationed in NE Arkansas (Blytheville) from 1986-90 and I saw, first hand, how quickly the weather can go from almost Beautiful to all hell breaking loose. Ironically, I have often thought it'd be nice to live in the Midwest. I REALLY get along with the Midwest attitude . 95% of my USAF Buds were / are from the Midwest.
