most don't get very good reviews
but the Fi and Whistle are two that are usually at the top of the list
they switch where they get their single from , depending on their location , from w--fi , if the dog is at home , to your phones blue tooth if your out walking dog outside of your wi-fi's range , to a cell service GPS service if the dog is outside the range of both your wi-fi and blue tooth , so it keeps change what it's connecting to
which is what my problem was , staying connected , I was never sure if it was working or not ,some times it was , some times it wasn't
Fi and Whistle I believe are more designed just for your dogs , as they also monitors your dogs health and activity , they monitors how much exorcise their getting , how much their scratching , stuff like that
so I did a fair amount of research this time
but with the Jiobit , even thought they work great for pets , I believe the Jiobit was more designed for people , parents who may have a child with autism swear by it , or for anyone who could wander off for that matter
but unlike the Fi or Whistle , it doesn't monitor your pets activity , which is fine with me , I never really used those anyways
I haven't had the Jiobit long enough to give it a review , but I'm liking what I'vre seen so far , works pretty slick
