We went to the back yard and toasted to our cats, Bella and Colonel, that we lost last Oct 12 and 29th. We stood by their little markers and MAN O MAN!!! The water works went into over drive. BUT......EXACTLY like you said to me last year, we focused on the two cats we adopted just 2 weeks after losing Bella and Colonel. Those two have been Heaven sent HEALING! Max, our black cat is crashed on the couch right by me now.
But...Like you, I bet me and my Wife will be hurting 4 years from now.....14 years from now. I have been told ..."They were just cats". Some IDIOTS do not warrant the breath used for a response.
