It does have its less inspired moments but overall its a fun movie.
I think I like most comedians. I don't seem to hold them to the same standard as musicians. Steve Martin has kind of always been my favorite. He has become a different comedian now but I think I still like him because I grew up listening/watching him. The Jerk remains a favorite. I used to listen to his albums and of course I was too young to understand a lot of it. I remember telling my aunt the silly cat house joke... she was amused because I didn't get the double entendre. I think that was the same year I dressed as one of the Village People and had no idea why people laughed when they saw my costume. Innocence lost.
Also about the same time I suggested to a girl I liked that I give her the Aunt Jemima treatment... and that did not go as well for me as it did for Bill Murray.
