I'm not saying people cannot enjoy other things. I'm talking about enjoying the event you are doing at the time. NFL football, by itself, is a GREAT game. When it exploded in popularity, it did not need a side Circus. The GAMES captured people's attention. OUTDOOR stadiums were slammed in September heat or January blizzards. Somewhere along the line it became necessary to have exploding scoreboards, halftime concerts, POLE DANCERS in Dallas etc etc
I have yet to EVER go to a big game and hear a fan say......If only we had a Halftime concert!!!! Sorry but I just don't get it and never will.
