Come county or state fair time you remember sleeping in the straw alongside your steer, cow, sheep, pig? How about this: Remember nibbling on the livestock feed... LOVED me some sugar beet pulp.
How about this: Before dawn wandering from the livestock barns down to the carnival area to search for lost coins? visiting that one snack bar that opened for us country kids for a hot chocolate and a donut?
I have not been to our county Fair is many years.. but they still hold horse races every year, (except last year of course). Thinking of going again. I have a fool proof betting scheme... Bet on the horse to right of the gray horse OR... any horse with 4 white socks. - JamesJM
