Where were you on Sep 11, 2001 ?

I was working in Computer Security at AT&T but for some reason, instead of driving to my office in downtown St Louis, I was working from home that day. I had ABC's Good Morning America on tv in the background like I do every morning. Charlie Gibson and Diane Sawyer were the show's broadcasters. I was logged on to work and working when suddenly Charlie said something about reports of a small plane hitting tower 1 at the World Trade Center. They didn't know what was going on but the cameras immediately flipped to the scene and you could see the smoke near the top of the building. I turned my attention to the tv and was watching when the 2nd plane hit the 2nd tower. I immediately emailed my team and told them to find a conference room with a tv and turn it on. The events of that day changed so many things in our lives forever. I'll never forget it.
