I don't know if I have a favorite horror flick. The older I get, the less I can tolerate horror films. They just bother me too much. I can handle mystery, psychological thrillers if they're not too gory. Frank and I just got finished watching "The Head" and it was pretty dang good. It was a 6-part limited series on HBO Max. When it starts off, it has that feel of "The Thing" but quickly shifts to become something different. It had us intrigued and baffled until about the last 15-20 minutes of the movie when all was revealed. A really good watch.
My son and I were talking about horror films this morning and he said the film HE found to be the scariest he's ever seen was "Hereditary". I read some of the user reviews on IMDB and I don't think it's a movie my heart could handle.
The Omen about did me in when it first came out.
