The one thing about earthquakes that is scary is -you don't really understand how they suddenly happen. In a hurricane you know its coming and you have all kinds of stuff on tv telling you how its forming and the causes, etc. I still don't really understand what causes an earthquake to occur. I know for some people not having lived here when they think of an earthquake they think of the ground opening up and swallowing anything around, cars, people, dogs, cats, lovers, and horror of horrors some Dodger players. It's just terrifying !
