But to the broader topic you bring up - yeah, I start conversations... and it's very seldom (maybe never?) that it's not preferable to the entertainment on my phone. I have never gotten into a debate with anyone regarding politics, religion, or any other sensitive subject.... just doesn't happen. Almost always it begins by finding things in common. "Yeah, I have grandkids as well".. or "That was a hell of a good game Monday Night".
Elders - I find them to be the best conversationalists. That's probably just me.... I like hearing their stories. What would bore most people I actually find entertaining. - JamesJM
