Socks It To Me

I noticed while watching some of the awards shows this past winter/spring that a lot of the men wore nice suits and tuxes but their pants were slim to tight and cut so that the length was "high water" and hit them above the ankle. They looked like they'd raided their kids' closets or like they were wearing Michael Jackson hand-me-downs. Also, the men all wore beautiful dress shoes... a slip-on, loafer style.. but with NO SOCKS. Seriously? Dress shoes without socks looks as stupid as thong flip flops WITH socks. I'm watching the NFL Draft and most of the players being drafted are sporting this same look: tight pants that hit above the ankle, loafer dress shoes and no socks. What if you have sweaty feet? Eeeewwww. I don't care if it's the "in" look or not. It's not sexy or cool to me and looks downright nasty.

Would you guys sport this look or does it just not matter to you?
