Understood, but...

this time of year is generally mild in Texas.. and I really want to get the yard going because the sun is in a different location and the live oak tree has no leaves, so the entire yard is getting sun right now.. well, when there is sun.. normally that's every day here, unless I've re-seeded.. So, around late March, or so, probably will have leaves back on the tree and the sun will shift so that very little sunlights hits the yard.. I guess the Grass Gods are just going to make sure I don't get an early jump this year.. I can't believe I've ben battling this front yard - every day - for a YEAR now..
