there are probably MILLIONS of artists creating their own music, now, and posting in on reverbnation.com (and other sites) for any and everyone to hear in hopes of somebody influential hearing it and liking it.. You could probably go to the site and search for whatever genre you wann ahear and hear 50 new bands doing the genre you want.. they may all suck, but you might hit gold a few times..
