I used to be one of those guys who made fun of it. I grew to love the stuff from the 90s / early 2000s and THEN more of an appreciation of the old stuff. I LOVE Waylon Jennings sound and a lot of Cash. BUT....I have quickly fallen away from Country. IMO, it has gotten WAY too modern Pop like and even Hip Hop. Most of the Country Artists these days sound like Brittany Spears or Boy Bands singing Country.
