Yeah-Loved the story and the beauty of the ocean. It was such an innocent time. I remember it well.

Speaking of "tears" (above). "Safety" didn't do that too me. The one movie scene that does it to me, over and over, is the true story of C S Lewis the great philosopher and professor at Oxford and Cambridge who has never experienced intimacy with any woman in his life. He is visited by an English married woman who crosses the Atlantic in order to attend his lectures. He gradually falls in love but because of her belief in monogamy it becomes a marriage of convenience. At some point he learns she is dying of cancer and this is the scene that breaks me up every time. Of course by now everyone on this board must realize I am a hopeless romantic.





And of course the ending scene where the entire theme is wrapped up in two sentences.
