The Crown: Not the most flattering picture of the monarchy. Great acting and also quite revealing-if accurate. We're at the point where the royal family has gathered to try and convince Prince Charles and Princess Diane to stick it out no matter how much they hate each other. You get the idea that Diana tried but Charles was consumed with Camilla to even try. In that light what is evident in the entire series is the most important thing is the preservation of the monarchy regardless of how it impacts relationships. Stiff upper lip and carry on seems to be the order of the day-every day.
