Fighting Cancer is more than fighting the disease. It takes a collective effort of proper rest, diet and.....MENTALITY. If every other day you are going through Gall stone pain, you CERTAINLY cannot focus on the bigger battle. My Bud who beat cancer 9 years ago told me that the mental part was SO important to make everything else effective. He was given about a 35-40% chance to beat it. So, he decided to have a "EFF IT!" attitude and have fun with it to lighten the mood. His Mom told me that while they were at the VA Hospital, down in Gainesville, she heard several Nurses and a Dr or two say that Jack (My bud) Made the entire floor laugh and lighten up. He'd call his I.V. tower on wheels "My slutty Girlfriend". When he was in the middle of treatment, he developed a simple sore throat and even that, he told me, was a PITA distraction. Sorry...I'm rambling.. Get those stones out of the picture!
