I'm been hyper vigilant on these tumors.. and the tumors are a big deal, so I kind of put the gall stones on the back burner and blown them off.. So, yesterday we drove to Dallas to see Steel Panther (a band that pay homage to the hair metal days, but does all original music) who are AMAZING... Second song in I felt that abdomen pressure I haven't felt in 3 months and within 30 seconds I needed the table we were sitting at to hold me up..
It was an outdoor show.. the day before in Texas it was 90 degrees, but last night it had dropped into the 30s.. we're all freezing our butts off, but I'm dripping sweat on the table because it hurts so bad.. luckily my wife had a bunch of stomach meds with her and I took every single one of them and it lightened up after about 4 songs.. but I wanted to leave, but I couldn't.. and to make matters worse, we had a direct line of site to the band and my wife was yelling and singing and got their attention and they talked to her for 30 seconds - all while I'm trying to look normal, but wishing I was dead because it hurt so bad..
So, anyways, I got to enjoy the second half of the show.. we got home around midnight (show started early) and fell asleep.. at 1 am I woke up with another gall stone attack, but this time I Was at home and had my stuff that would help it.. except it didn't help it.. I took massive amounts of the stuff and it didn't ease up for 3 hours..
I had decided not to get the gall bladder out until the cancer stuff was dealt with, but now I can't live like that, so add the gall bladder removal to the other surgeries coming up.. holy cow - don't ever lose sight of what got you to get your ass off the couch and go to the doctor in the first place...
Friendship is like peeing your pants.. Everybody can see it, but only you can feel the warmth..
