pertinent stuff:
"Well-circumscribed area of increased signal in the lower pole cortex of left kidney, possibly an angiomyolipoma"..
"Irregularity in midpole cortex of the right kidney laterally with some faint increased T2 signal, but no well-defined lesion. this may represent postinflammatory scarring.".. ME: the right kidney is the one with the very distinct tumor on it, so not sure why he states no well-defined lesion.. it was SUPER well defined in the ultrasound.. unless he got the left and right kidneys mixed up.
"Faint area of diminished T1 signal and associated enhancement in the anterior segment of the right lobe of the liver measuring approximately 15mm in diameter. Evaluation with computed tomography using hemangioma is recommended."
So, I got to Dallas next Wednesday to see the kidney guy, but now he's got two kidney's to deal with.. then we'll have to go to a liver guy to see if he can resect whatever the hell is growing on my liver.. My guess is they remove the tumors, then biopsi them.. I'll find out more next week..
