In recent years, I have spent MANY hours on our back porch swing, during such bad times....The passing of my Brother, Mom, Dad, Best friend and Step Dad. I hate being inside when hurting. I'll never know how people can lock themselves in a dark room. The thing with the swing....Our Porch / Patio was Bells'a perch and the backyard view was her domain. Right now, I cannot even look out the back door to the porch because from about 3:30 till we fed her, EVERY day, for the last 9 years, Bella would be on the porch looking at the door. Bella and our other cat are two cats that have been daily routine. Gonna feed our other cat in about 30-45 minutes. That's gonna hurt like hell.
