Other than Maynard, whom 21Dog brought up and was great, whenever I saw them portrayed on TV, or in movies, they didn't come off as 'cool' to me at all.... but rather silly and a bit pretentious. Of course... I was viewing them from my world of Roy Rogers and Gene Autry.
