And yes.. I'm well aware the word "hip" is far out of fashion and not knowing the proper term used today makes me decidedly NON-hip.

So here's the answer.... I got these two one word definitions: "Fire" and "Fresh".... so the truth is I'm not really sure what "Drip" means because I'm not really sure what "Fresh" and "Fire" mean.
Here's the context: I showed my grandsons a photo of some RAM shoes and asked if they liked them. My reply was 'drip'.
So my educated guess is that 'drip' is something akin to 'cool'... or more archaic 'nice'..... short for 'yeah, they look good'.
Did you get it right, did you know... I mean REALLY know, no deducing?
Now a follow-up... who remembers this? Back when I was young a 'drip' was an 'uncool person'.... hasn't been used in probably 50 years... but I find that sublimely ironic. - JamesJM
